Are there any specifics you can reveal about player/guild housing? (Will it be instanced or open/ Can I decorate outside as well as in/ if not instanced, can I duel my neighbor to the death should he/she encroach on my property lines?

Are they going to charge a monthly fee, or use a form of purchaseable in-game currency to make money (like GW2 gem store) and call it "free to play"**?

Regarding Housing: There will not be housing at launch. I've seen that mentioned several times in interviews. Know the answer already :). It is something they want to do but they don't want to do it sub par. They want to make it awesome.

Regarding Pricing: Still to early for an answer to that one. We've got a year before launch. At 6 months we possibly will know more but up till now that question gets shot down with the "We are currently looking into pricing models to find which one best matches our needs".

Is there a cap to the amount of people that can be in Cyrodil at one point in time? Or will the layering technique eliminate the need for overflows? 

I envision large scale, couple hundred player battles duking it out, instead of the smaller zergs of GW2, with the 80 people BL cap.

What kind of support will there be for drawing LARGE numbers of characters?

Doing battle in PVP where you can't see half the people killing you, or participating in a large scale guild event when the environment and guildmates can't be drawn simultaneously is a major letdown.

This is what killed Guildwars 2 for me.

What type of customizing your inputs/peripherals  will you have?  ie the mouse button for block and mouse button for attack..hold for stronger attack mechanics....will i be able to turn that off and switch it via hot keys to a more "traditional" mmo style of mouse movement and keyboard for attack/block/etc?

What can console players expect for RvR content, or will it even be available to them?  

I have some old friends who are interested in Xbox or PS3, rather than PC, and I'm assuming that we won't be playing any RvR together.  They're also concerned that they won't have as good of a RvR experience if they choose a console, instead of PC.

Will there be an interface API for authors to develop custom UIs and/or addons (for PC version especially - consoles would be cheddar)?

I would be curious about wardrobes - will there be an option for this.  I love the Rift option, that you can have any wardrobe you want and it does not affect your armor stats so you can look how you want to look anywhere, not just in town.

Will there be any instanced pve or raids? (NOT open world raids, as they are completely different experience for players!). If so what are the raid/instance sizes going to be?

From what I have read so far, I do not think there will be instanced raids, but I am hoping there are!

There is a very good source http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1443440-the-comprehensive-eso-mechanics-thread-100-sourced-information/ that talks about ESO and is a fully sourced article. I will try to answer the previous questions with what I know from reading the post, multiple times... For those of you that love to keep on top of things that is a good read.

 

First... Pookha's second question:

"- There are 5 crafts: Provisions, Enchanting, Weaponsmithing, Armorsmithing & Alchemy. You receive "crafting points" that you may spend on any of these as you see fit, but have a limited number of crafting points. You may become an expert in two crafts, or dabble a little in all of them. link"

Twilah - they haven't announced their payment model, so this would be great if we got an answer.

Ragmar - The plan for AvA (alliance versus alliance, ESO's RvR term) and Cyrodiil is 2000 players on the map (split between 3 factions), and they are aiming at 200+ on screen at one time.

Sekkerhund - ESO will be split up by platform. Each will be the same exact game to the best quality allowed by the system, summarized from an interview with their lead producer. So their experience will really be based off of how many people on each platform play.

Aalwein - Not sure on UI customization, but ESO is built so your not looking at a UI, essentially. They want you to look at who your fighting not colored bars. They talk a lot about how important the change in combat from smashing a rotation to being reactive during combat. Watching someone charge an attack and having to react to that, not a timer telling you when to use your frostbolt. So they may allow customization, but the UI will be minimal already.

Hex - There will be instanced PVE in the form of heroic dungeons and others things such as "adventure zones", These are the other alliance zones you can go to after completing your factions.

My own question would be about racials and if they will follow suit from Skyrim, giving races racials based off of the lore. Say.. frost resistance for Nords, water breathing for Argonians, fire resistance for Dunmer... etc. Also, will there be racial mounts in the game?

@ Jegdar - yeah, I am aware of that.  But my question was, will there be instanced raids and dungeons as open world raids and dungeons are very very different to instanced ones. My understanding of adventure zones from what I have studied about the game so far, is that they are open world.

Will the menu's and interface for PC be made the same as consoles (like Skyrim)? Or will PC have more functionality?

Will there be an option to fight with just a single one-handed weapon (no offhand, shield or dual wield) without gimping ourselves?

I'd really like to move away from dual wielding, I loved in Skyrim where I could have a sword in one hand and just a spell equipped in my offhand (I know spells aren't equipped in ESO).

Hex, I think just to be safe you should clarify what you believe a raid is. Your definition may not be the same as others. If im to get an accurate answer I need to define it as best I can.

How many character's can you have and can you make character's for all 3 factions or is your account locked to a single faction (that would really suck)

Will there be special events that happen for only a limited amount of time and award special prizes for participating? 

I have the same question as Hex.  Will there be  traditional instanced dungeons that an organized raiding party will need to prepare for (potions, gear) and work together (strategies) to kill the bosses within them?

Maybe this language can help..

 

Will there be instanced material for a group requiring numbers of 10-20+ players to progress through similar to traditional raids we see in other MMOs. Will it be resetting on a weekly schedule or are specific mobs on specific respawn timers? Will the material require preparation through loading up on consumables such as potions and food? Will this content require organizational tools such as a voice system to be able to coordinate the players involved in the material? Will the instances be "locked" to those not within the party's invited group.

 

Maybe that details it more?

ohhh...will the game have a built in voice communication system for party/raid groups? or will they leave that to the other developers.  Would be awesome if they could include it into their own system via a partnership or just develop their own.

WoW tried it but i think it failed and they scrapped it....i have not played wow in a while so i don't know for sure.

Ruwund, when it comes to voice services, look to neverwinter. It has one and it's rarely used. People prefer to go with their own voice over internet service.  Gaming companies should devote their time to making the game the best possible. Adding a voice communication layer to the whole thing just makes it more complicated and also infringes on people's language preference.  It opens a pandora's box of problems.

WoW has one too. Had one from probably 2-3 years. Never used. Its a waste. People want the 3rd party comfortable one. Plus, in game voice means... in game voice only. You can't get D/c'd and tell your pals your just crashed to desktop. Once out of the game no communication w/ the group. Its not a benefit to have in game voice imo.

I've been thinking a lot about what they have said concering their AvA system, and how it's slightly similar to GW2 system, with objectives requiring nearby supply camps for upgrades, as well as a lot of other things, so I'm just going to type down all the questions in my head. Go ahead and take as many, or ignore as many as you would like. Lots of them are probably not detailed enough to be used.

Will these supply camps be extremely simple objectives to capture, just zerging in and crushing everything? Or will there be things in place to make it a bit more of a challenge, thereby requiring some strategy and tactics to take?

Are the keeps and other large structures of that type (towers, citadels, etc.) going to truly need to be under siege? Or is one ram going to be able to take out a door in seconds? Will the keep defenses be such that they require effective planning beforehand to provide support for the attacking forces, with things such as ballistas and other anti-personnel siege to keep the defenders away from the wall-destroyers like trebs, catas and rams?

Is siege equipment moveable?? Or are you going to need to run around with supplies to rebuild outside every encampment/keep?

It's been stated that with the correct tactics and builds, smaller groups will be able to take out much bigger zergs. What are some factors that will attribute to this, besides the survivability and damage output of individual players? For example, will things like terrain make a difference (e.g. hold the high ground, duck behind that rock, etc.)? Will there be "zergbuster" abilities? I'm thinking long cooldown, but extremely painful spells/attacks/traps etc, or abilities that do massive CC/conditions to make killing the zerg easier.

 

Umm... I'll probably come up with some more questions later, and a few of them will probably make more sense and merit being mentioned to zenimax.

If a person has to leave a dungeon/instance unexpectedly will there be an easy way to a) get a replacement without having to go to town and b) summon the new member either directly to the dungeon or outside of the dungeon?

Will there be open world rare drops that are worth farming for?

Will the craftable armor look as great as the dungeon armor?

Will there be rare bosses who spawn at odd times and once beaten not respawn for a while (I.e 7 days)? 

Will there be questable group content?

What does endgame look like?

@ Fog: by instanced raids I mean errrr, a raid within an instance.  There is no other way really to say it. Examples may help from Rift, as I know you have run some of those raids: 

Think GSB, ROS, Hammerknell or smaller raids like Gilded Prohecy or Drowned Halls. In Wow examples would be Icecrown Citadel, Blackwing Lair, Molten Core, Black Temple, Mount Hyjal, Sunwell etc.

A group of max level players entering an instance in a preset group raid with a playercap on it to defeat trash/bosses in return for loot which drops from pre-determined loot tables. Other players may not enter this instanced raid at the same time.  Each raid has a raid id meaning that players may raid for a night, progress and then re-enter again and take up where they left off (other than trash respawning). At a preset time each week the raid ids are wiped and you start again.

This is vastly different to an openworld raid group formed to kill a world boss, accessible to any player on the server. Or an rvr raid formed for pvp content.

(1) What is the respawn timer on open world dungeon bosses?

(2) How many people will an open world boss take to beat?

(3) What type of healing spells will we see in the game?  Will there be complete heals, instant heals, heal over times, shields, incoming damage reduction, outgoing damage reduction, or other healing abilities?  Will healing be done through attacking or is there a role in this game for a back-line healer?  Can we see some of the warden spells / purchasable traits?

(4) How long will it take to get to maximum level?  Flat leveling system or exponential leveling system? 

(5) Will the ideal group in a dungeon have 1 healer 1 tank and 2 dps? Are groups the same size in RVR as well?

(6) Will we be able to see full guild names or will it be limited to a few letters like in GW2?

(7) Will there be annoying numbers after character names like in GW2?

(8) At what level is the first dungeon available?

(9) How will instance dungeon gear compare to gear attainable through RVR, open world bosses, and craft-able gear?

(10) How do dark anchors work?  Are these basically like rifts?

(11) What special perks are there for the emperor?

(12) How exactly does the mega-sever work?  I understand there is one server but I have also heard that at character select you put in preferences (like age, maturity level, RP, play-style preference, etc) and then you will only play with those people. How does that work?  Can you switch play-style preferences?

(13) Is there any type of progression required for open world bosses?  (IE: do you have to gear up on boss A, B, and C for a while to then be able to beat world boss D, E, and F, and once you gear up on D, E, F, is there a world boss G?

(14) Is it completely set in stone that there will never be scenario type small-scale pvp or is that simply something that will no be in at launch?

(15) What are the crafting professions and how powerful will they be?

(16) If there is no auction house, will there be any type of mechanism in game to help players sell their goods?

(17) Will items be Bind on Pickup, bind on equip, or always tradable?

(18) Will mobs leash?

One other question I would really like to know is what are the minimum and recommended specs for a computer to play ESO?

Well, my question is rather simple - and it is only one since so much else has been asked above.

 

I just want to know... When I might see a complete list of classes/professions that will be offered which I will be able to play and if any of those are restricted by race?

 

About 75% of the excitement that I generate within myself and when talking to others comes from the classes ie: thief, mesmer, mage, bezerker, etc. and figuring out what I want to play and what their background story might be.  I haven't seen a list yet although I imagine the usual suspects will be there... but in most cases it is the unusual ones that I gravitate to first.   I like to be odd yet colorful :)

Will crafted high end items have the same stats and 'good stuff' as raiding gear, or will crafters get screwed whenever a new dungeon piece of gear is released that makes crafted items obsolete?

Will the music be epic and professionally done?

Would a cinematic scene of a major battle scene with something as awesome as O Fortuna playing in the background be possible?

Is Patrick Stewart's sexy voice going to be a part of ESO like it was in Oblivion?

Will the UI be customizable for those of us with visual impairments and 'Old Pharte Eyes' (TM)? (Note--for text, put the chat box down towards the bottom--that's where our bifocals are.).

Can we change the font size and color of different chat channels? Some of us with eye diseases can read certain colors better than others.

Will keybinding be allowed so that people with dexterity problems or who are missing hands/arms (e.g. our military vets) can easily play one-handed? Will macros be allowed for people with physical disabilities?

Will full (and optional) subtitles and volume adjustments be available for the hearing impaired?

Is the game being run through a special program that identifies colors that would be difficult for those with red/green color blindness to see?

Is excessive flashing limited to reduce the chance of triggering seizures?

Will quests have 'safe zones' where we can stop quickly if our kid suddenly comes to our desk informing us that the world is ending because his friend pulled the pet cat's tail and we have to deal with emergencies? Note that I can and have let characters die in the middle of a mob while running to see which kid was running down the stairs, tripped, and faceplanted. Fortunately, they didn't die, and it was nothing that an ice pack, 4 bandaids, and a kiss from mom couldn't cure. I can't say the same for my toons, but it's a few gold pixels for repair and not real money.

Can you work optional, natural breaks into quests and raids so that when those of us with attacks of family, spouse aggro, beer, and/or beer bladder can make quick stops and then come back without our toons' souls already sent to heaven and their poor bodies being danced upon by demons?

Can you add some cool flowers to add to the natural feel of the world? Not to mention, they really are pretty and add to the art.

Will there be places where I can just stop and admire the amazing beauty of the game without fear of some level 2 bug beating on me with his antennae and ruining the gorgeous moment?

Will we be able to do the equivalent of trading gems for gold and vice versa a la GW2, or will you allow a system like Turbine's LOTRO that allows you to earn coins by doing deeds in game for the real money shop? Basically, are you going to give players the chance to work in game to earn the items you sell, or will it be strictly cash-only?

Can you implement the node-farming that GW2 implemented where anyone can harvest the same node once? No more node-ninjas--that was SO nice and made it much nicer not to hear "so and so stole all my nodes!" in chat all the time.

Will crafters have a nice, broad selection of items to craft that they can unlock after time? I'm quite enjoying my quest to learn all my cooking and jewelry recipes in GW2, and I loved making dyes in LOTRO.

Will there be party events? I don't care if it's an anniversary, harvest day festival, wintersday, whatever you call it, as long as it's something fun about once a quarter that draws all players together for a cute set of quests, or interesting puzzles, etc. to earn special event achievements.

Will you have minipets? I guarantee you that you'll make a ton of money off both me and my daughter if you have a bunch of cute ones.

I would like chest armor coverage on females to be at least larger than pasties so that when I play the game with my 16 year old son, (my family all games together), we won't be melting the monitors from the furious blushing.

I'd like a resizeable map and the ability to ping on it and draw on it. My Old Pharte eyes will thank you. :)

I would like to know just how seperate pve and pvp objectives will be.  Objectives meaning achievements and the like. For me pvp and pve are two mindsets.  Pvp being one of competition and pve being one of relaxed story telling, exploring and lore.  I love both but not at the same time.
