Gaiscioch Closes Out a Season of Rebellion

Since the launch of Conqueror's Blade the Gaiscioch Community focused on being a starting place for players to learn about the foundational elements of the game. We created marvelous fiefs and opened them for all to craft in. For the most part, people left us alone and let us build nice things for all to enjoy.

Four seasons ago a dark cloud rose on the horizon. We began getting attacked constantly by certain groups of players who were looking for an easy win. These groups would make fun of us, field our members for laughs, and generally be disruptive towards our plans. It became evident that the road forward was through blood.

At the close of season 18, iSecret extended his hand to help us learn and joined us for a few weeks to show us some endgame war strategy. He ended up having so much fun with us that he decided to join Hibernia for season 19 with his house iKingdom and the Rebellion was born. By the time the season launched an unexpected alliance between Gaiscioch and old-time rival Durrandon was forged and the three prepared for war.

With sights on securing and defending a tiny pocket of the borderlands and the idea that we would attack anyone who attacked us to grow your land, we didn't expect the result. Each time we were attacked our land expanded and by mid-season, we were first place owning half of the borderlands. As we entered phase 5 we owned 79% of the Borderlands.

We have been tested time and time again and at this point have faced off against every alliance in the game. Nobody could have expected the result after this glorious rebellion was formed. Nay Sayers continues to throw shade in our direction and underestimate us. Each time we're tested we stand strong and give them the fight of their life.

Overall this season has been legendary for us. We spent most of the season hard-capped at 100 active players with no players being AFK longer than 7 days. We defended our lands against a horde of invaders including Mortality, Homegrown, MidwayKingz, WorldEaters, Dauntless, and over a dozen more.

We grew our land far enough that when the end game blitz began we were able to throttle the rush and sacrifice the land we wanted to lose while maintaining our core region.

Unfortunately, people took us not attacking ArtofDeez as we were allies, and in the final war, 4 alliances assaulted our lands. We fought hard and even managed to keep several properties. This season we learned a lot and now have the fresh taste of battle well ingrained in our minds.

Next season we are aiming at securing a side capital. It will take a bit of rebuilding, training, and organizing but I believe with the core we have we can build something remarkable.

Overall this season was a blast. We ended First Place in total seasonal acclaim and fought every house on the server at some point. We have a long road ahead, but Hibernia is known for its patience and perseverance. I have no doubt next season we'll be even stronger.
