Gaiscioch Community News July, 2018
- Gaiscioch E3 Coverage
E3 this year was nuts. We had a wealth of game announcements and new footage on some of our favorites from last year. As E3 progressed, I was at the keyboard posting up all the latest videos and press conferences. Here's our compiled list of press conferences.
- Thank You Patreons!
As always I can not express my gratitude enough to all of those that have supported the community through Patreon, Twitch and YouTube. Your contributions have gone a long way into allowing us to grow and provide us with tools to streamline our operation.
- The Siege War Returns
We've completed our tour of Summerset Isle and have returned to AvA for some siege warfare. We will be holding our AvA events throughout the month of July before holding a Morrowind tour in August. Join us Saturday mornings at 11AM for some fun in AvA.

- Great Tyrian Adventure Season 5 Preparations
We're moving forward with our Great Tyrian Adventure plans for this October. Our first order of business is restocking the prize vault. We're looking for Yellow Weapon Skins, Ascended Insignias and Inscriptions, Exotic Weapons, Boxes of Exotic Armor, and of course Precursors or Legendaries that you’re willing to donate. We are also going to need 3 volunteers to help us create the targeted 3 legendaries for the prize pool as well as some volunteers to help create a few other rare weapon prizes.
- WILD Joins the Tuatha Alliance
We are proud to welcome our friends from Sea of Sorrows to Sanctum of Rall as they join the Tuatha Alliance. They are largely focused on WvW and match our friendly personality and outlook on gaming.
- New Allies This Friday
This is the week where we get repaired with new allies. With the influx of guilds to Sanctum of Rall this should be a really interesting week to see where we end up. I seriously doubt we'll end up with Jade Quarry again so enjoy our time with them while you can.
- Gaiscioch Brings the War to Tier 1 in July
Due to low attendance at our Tier 4 events and the massive attendance at our Tier 1 events we've decided to spend July in Tier 1. The vast majority of our members enjoy tier 1 a lot more than tier 4 and we only seem to grow when we have our tier 1 nights. We will do what we can to grow so that hopefully by fall we can have a solid core in Tier 4 even if it's once a month. Additionally we are looking for more event leaders who can keep our presence on the battlefield during the week.

- Camelot Unchained Beta Kickoff
Beta is rapidly approaching and we will certainly have a group of us playing CU. Be sure to sign up for our Social Adventure at: https://www.gaiscioch.com/social/camelotunchained/ and keep that page handy as we will organize the guild formation and servers from that section. We currently have 45 players signed up to play and will be looking at getting the ball rolling as fast as possible. CU will likely join our Siege War Livestream Lineup and I can forcast a weekly event being reserved for it. We will be the Tuatha faction for obvious reasons. Learn more about Beta 1 at: http://camelotunchained.com/v3/beta-1/
- Bless Online Off to a Rough But Improving Start
What started as a very rough takeoff has begun to normalize and stabilize. The instant rush of people who were expecting the eastern game localized for the west caused disconnection issues as well as other server integrity problems that NEOWIZ wasn't quite expecting. The general public largely overlooked the fact that the game was part of Steam's Early Access program which is essentially public beta testing and a good way to help up and coming developers fund the development of their titles. It was not a full game release and that upset quite a few people.
- Rebuild in Progress
The Gaiscioch Magazine site is undergoing renovations. I am hoping by the end of August we'll have our new 100% https enabled website ready to go. It's not going to be a fast process but hopefully soon we'll have a new format that streamlines the process and gives you guys a reason to look at it daily.
- This is for the 6/19 event- Campaign 2
- Crifting at its best!
Crafting rift raids are as popular as ever, and once again we owned Ashenfell. We might not be able to fill a raid on our own but it speaks for the hosts of this event that it will fill up fast before even being advertised on public channels...
- We'll have a really nice view from up there!
Today was the exploration of north-east Summerset. We unlocked Wayshrines and Viewpoints, found some Skyshards and visited a dungeon. Some world bosses and geyser spawns were so unlucky to encounter us while we marveled at that beautiful isle...
- Vetting
I'd just like to thank everyone in the group for sharing a first completed veteran dungeon. You are the best!
