Gaiscioch Football Gets New Armor

Many of you may not have known this about me, however when I first enrolled at San Jose State University I wanted to declare my focus in Fashion design. However the program was "Full" and there was a waiting list to be a part of it. So Instead I declared Graphic Arts and just tapped that talent in my free time.

I've always had these grand ideas for uniforms, t-shirts, etc however the limitations of dyes, printing, and heat press kept me away from really bringing my art to fashion. But something new has been created. A new process of dying fabric to allow full color dye infused fabric to be cut to size and custom tailored to our needs. They call it Dye Sublimation or Full Sublimation and I just happened to find a place in Seattle that can make this happen.

At last I can allow my creativity to show and can come up with extravagant designs that cover the entire piece not just a square block in the center and a rectangle on the back. What I wanted to achieve was to give our uniform a medieval yet modern. The sleeves and side panels have a chainmail texture. The torso has a green studded leather texture. The numbers have a chrome overlay with a hexalite texture. Then it has our name and emblems throughout. So it is my pleasure to give you an exclusive first look at the new uniforms that the team hasn't even seen.

The first order has been placed and we will likely be submitting a second here in a few weeks. If you would like one of these with a number of your choice please contact me asap. The cost is $75 per jersey (covers domestic shipping). I'm hoping to negotiate lower prices in the future however custom clothing is still pretty pricy. The nice thing is dye sublimation doesn't bleed, fade, or crack. It's a process that turns the dye to vapor then locks it in place bonding with the fabric. You can wash, dry, and wear these as you would a normal t-shirt. Look for some pictures coming soon of the final product.
