who has the g400s and do you like it or love it or wish you didn't spend money on it?

who has the g600 mmo gaming mouse and do you like it or love it or wish you had your money back?

I am looking to buy a mouse and am undecided on whether i want to keep going the multi multi button mouse or slim back to somethign like the g400s.  I have the z merc stealth from stealseries for my keyboard.  It gives my a game pad of sorts on the left of the normal keyboard.  I am a binder.....i bind everything.....so i don't know if scaling back to the g400s would be a good idea for me or not.  if the pros of switching outway the cons i can always get used to clicking to open menus and stuff...hehe

Anyway..would appreciate all your thoughts and opinions.

Thanks ruw.

** edit ....i use the mmo7 from madcatz currently but one of the side buttons broke off.....i use the two side buttons to strafe....like always.....i can't play gw2 without them...lol..which is why i am playing swtor now.....haha..i can survive by strafing in one direction only in that game...lol

I have the G600. I love it. particularly with games like Neverwinter, DC Universe etc. ware action and movement are key. the 11 buttons on the side are a real help in executing your actions quickly with out using your keyboard

G700... don't leave home without it. Wired and wireless, for your convenience. Just enough programmable buttons to be useful and not be overbearing like the Naga.

I like the razer naga hex mouse   .   It only  has  6 side buttons vs the  other that has 12   so not as bad  .

I purchased the g700s and am enjoying it so far.  I played the first day wireless and saw the battery get to 25%.  I plugged in the cord and went to bed.  Played the next day wired and didn't notice a big difference in ease of movement (the cord didn't get in the way too much) so it has been wired for the past couple of days while i play around with it.  It is awesome that you have the ability to play wired or wireless.  the button placement is great also for me.

Thanks all for the recommendations.

G700 here.

The seamless wired to wireless is nice for on the go or multiple devices. the battery life on the included rechargeable leaves much to be desired I only get about 5 hours of constant use out of it at a time. That said, I run super high report frequencies do it drinks that battery. It has just the right amount of buttons as well, four for the thumb and four for the index finger. It Supports on the fly DPI changing which is a must for any FPS play. Another downside is the the mouse does not support complex button assignable macros like most other modern Logitech peripherals. The fit is perfect for those with larger hands and is the most comfortable mouse I have ever used (even better then the legendary G9, my first love). Though there are not interchangeable weight modules (like in the G9), the weight is very nice, just heavy enough to allow for precise movements, but wont strain your wrist/hand after many hours of play.

All in all I've been very pleased with the G700. It was well worth the price.

I just love the form factor of the G700. I loved the old Logitech MX Revolution mouse, but they discontinued it so I moved to the G700 which has a similar if not identical shape. Loved the extra buttons so I haven't looked back. I've even bought a second G700 for a backup/laptop and a third for my wife's computer. Only thing I could ask for is the BlueLazer tech - I have a glass desk and being able to go "naked" (sans-mouse pad) would be great.

Speaking of mouse pad, anyone use anything special? Mine is starting to wear out and it's just some off-brand micro-film surface of some kind. I'm looking for something smallish (those giant beasts of mouse pads Razer sells are so ridiculous) that has a good grip on the bottom - glass desk 'n'all.

as far as mouse pad i use rocketfish products.  I love them...they are usually very thin and doublesided...one "enhanced" for speed and one optimized for control.

Double sided probably wont work for me because I need one with a sticky/super grip back to hold still on a glass surface.

there are rubberish type footholds on the four corners of each side.  They still may not work for you depending on how slippery you keep your glass :))...but i understand the concern.  rocketfish has some that are not double sided also.
