These past couples of months have been crazy and chaotic. But they did give me a bit of time to reflect and think about all the things we could become moving forward. I have been thinking really hard about creating a wiki-lite system inside our Gaiscioch Magazine so we can develop game guides over time. Where we can outline features and add screenshots and build our very own Wiki-style site.
I have tried wiki in the past and my biggest problem is that every submission I've ever made has been denied. I spent a lot of time and effort and it just gets denied and thrown away.
I want to build our very own interpretation of it. There are so many games out there like Conqueror's Blade and World of Warcraft Classic that has little to no helpful guides out there. No current information to help players out. What I'm thinking of doing is expanding on our game hubs turning each of them into sections. This allows us to put together a structured format of game guides we can easily edit and update on a regular basis.
I also want to look into being able to import other popular game guides and videos directly into the site as direct links as well to provide a one-stop resource for the games we love.
That said, this is gonna take some time to create. But I think moving forward it might be a nice thing we can do for the game communities we are a part of.
With articles slowing down and availability of new content becoming scarce this will provide us a road forward that we can still write articles about, but aren't confined to just articles.
