Things are heating up for Guild Wars 2 as we rapidly approach the reveal of the 3rd Expansion End of Dragons. So far we know that it will be taking us back to Cantha, the land of the Guild Wars Factions expansion for the original Guild Wars. You can expect to see some vibrant graphics coming soon because that region was one of the most beautiful in all of the Guild Wars universe.
There are some special events leading up to the big reveal.
Important Dates:
- May 25: Living World: Complete the Cycle
- July 13: The Twisted Marionette
- July 13: The Legendary Armory
- July 27: Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons First Look
If I was to make an educated guess, I suspect the release date between September and October, which has been their go-to expansion release schedule. Every expansion and the original game launched close to PAX West which is their home field gaming convention. This year it's scheduled for September 3-6th. So my bet would be something near that date.
