Season 17 Proves An Explosive Season for Gaiscioch

Since the launch of season 17, we've seen a huge influx of new members joining our community. Many of the folks joining us are long-time vets who have known us for quite some time. All in all, things have been looking good for us this season so far.

On the territory front, we've locked down the southern Borderlands which was our stomping ground for several seasons. We've managed to get Brittia and Walewein to rank 7 already. Kerlich is ready for 5 and we're trying to push it to 7 before we smash the upgrade button. Unfortunately, it hasn't been blessed by the fief quests Gods yet.

Prepare for War

Each war we have amassed 15-20 people from each house which has made protecting our lands a little easier. As we leave phase 3, I expect to see a bit more resistance come out way. The main reason is our land would guarantee a shot at the capital. Based on the state of the rest of the Borderlands, I foresee great battles in our future. Enjoy the quiet time while we have it because the storms are coming.

Enduring the DDOS

This past few weeks have been challenging being constantly disconnected from the server. A massive treasure trove of loot was sent off to all those who had logged in. Many people have stepped away from the game due to this but we will continue to endure. We made it through season 6 when half the kheshigs were invisible killers and we had to relog several times to defend our fief while we fought the endless loading screen bug.

We've seen the ups and downs and like all MMOs, they too will figure out how to counter a DDOS. Every MMO has experienced this at some point. We will be here when the dust settles. I don't blame you if you go play something else for a while just try to be there for Territory Wars when I call for a live War. I'll let ya know when things have smoothed out. In the meantime be sure to try to log in so you're eligible for any loot they send out to say sorry for our troubles.
