If you've been on the fence about coming back, now is the time to give it a try. This new season features 3 actually good units, new siege weapons, and most of all, a much more active territory wars. Let's dive into the big news of the month.
Cloudwing Valley (NA West) Merges with Eagle Range (NA East)
We are all settled in on our new server and no action is required by you to join us. Simply log in, choose the borderlands as your starting region, and toss a request in to join Gaiscioch or GaisciochDubh. While there were 20 houses on Cloudwing Valley competing for land, we now have over 50 Houses battling for 144 properties. It is guaranteed to be a much more aggressive war and we will not be able to sit quietly for long. Prepare to fight because we will certainly be required to do so.
The New Units
Wuxing Pikemen (3-Star)
Unleash elemental fury upon your opponents with this fiery Unit’s flaming spears. The Wuxing Pikemen are inspired by the fire lance (or spear), an Ancient Chinese weapon. This bamboo tube and gunpowder combo would ignite to create a fiery explosion and launch a stream of flames at the enemy.
Crescent Monks (4-Star)
These traveling, tattooed men of faith expertly handle their shovel-like weapons, wielding them to bring down enemies who threaten their way of life.
Yanyuedao Cavalry (5-Star)
Let loose with devastating attacks from atop mighty steeds and turn the tide of battle with this cavalry brigade.
The Plan
With a vastly increased competitive pool, we are aiming small this season. We need to be certain we can defend what we take over. We will be quietly upgrading our fiefs creating the least amount of noise possible until the last moment. All our villages will remain ranked 1 until we can upgrade them directly to rank 5. Our towns and forts will stay at rank 4 until we can upgrade directly to 7. For our survival this season we need to not be quiet and work under the radar. The more our name appears in the news the more we will be targeted.
This season we plan to rebuild our coffers and resource pools keeping the big fief quests to a minimum so we can replenish them. Once we get familiar with the new community and people start understanding how we operate we will look to expand in the following seasons. But for right now there is a blood hunt going on to murder all western houses and I want to stay off the meal ticket as long as we can. Speak small, and carry a heavy punch.
