Congratulations to our newest Elders.
This month we welcome 3 new elders as we ramp up for the upcoming release of Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons and New World. Over the next couple of months, we will be bringing a few more elders on for future organizational needs.
Pedro (Advisory Board)
if you've played any game with Gaiscioch over the past couple of years you have likely crossed paths with Pedro. This new father originally from Venezuela has joined us in pretty much every chapter since they joined in 2019. For years Pedro has helped me out carrying on duties that typically only elders do. With the launch of New World on the horizon and an increased workload in the future, we've decided to bring him on to help out with the launch of New World as well as supporting our other titles.
Secret (Advisory Board)
It didn't take long to notice that Secret had a rare trait you don't see very often in younger players. This young man has a natural affinity towards helping others. Since I crossed paths with him in Conqueror's Blade he has spent much of his time learning and teaching players about the game and our community. His patience matches that of my own and that to me is a really rare find in someone in his 20s. He has a gentle and kind spirit and looks for opportunities to help people grow. We've decided to bring him on board as an Elder to help provide a voice to the youth in the community.
Namrie (Guild Wars 2)
Most players who have played Guild Was 2 with us have crossed paths with Namrie. This European-based player has been a key figure in our fractal and raiding scene since they were introduced. In an effort to expand our European voice we've decided to bring Namrie onto the team.

We have several others lined up for future Eldership needs so expect to see some more announced in the coming newsletters as we gear up for one of the wildest 6-month periods of our 20-year history.
As a reminder, eldership is not about power, it's about helping people. The entire focus of our eldership team is nurturing the community. Through selfless acts to benefit the whole that often goes without recognition. We only approach people for eldership if they have a personality that leans towards helping others, without needing reward or recognition to do good deeds.
The Gaiscioch Mission has been and always will be to build a better world through gaming. Helping people, just because we can. Looking out for people, who can't look out for themselves. Give when others take. Comforting one another in times of grief. Most importantly, leaving a positive memory in the minds of the people we come across. In the end, the awards, achievements, loot does not come with us. The experiences we share stay with us forever. We want to make positive ones. Our Eldership team keeps this in focus at all times and personifies it.
