It was brought to my attention earlier this month that our fan-favorite Guild Wars 2 player Beardtounge has been diagnosed with Dementia.
A dear friend of his wrote:
He is at Renown Regional Medical Hospital in Reno, Az the last I heard and what looks to be Dementia. He recognized me but did not have a clue where he was. It's so sad because he had an IQ of 160 in High school...!
It's truly not the way to go for someone who had all the guild wars spirit. I bought him a piggy at the gift shop and gave it to him. He loved pigs more than anything else. ... he will be transferred to a VA facility under the guardianship of Reno, AZ

Beardtounge was a huge part in helping put together legendaries for the Great Tyrian Adventures. He also was a big supporter of our community and helped out any way he could. He is one of the few Laoch rank members we have and has been playing alongside us since August 17, 2012. He wracked up almost 1 million vault credits by donating things to the family to help with our community events and guild hall upgrades. His presence will be missed. We can only hope his remaining time on earth is filled with some kind of joy.
