So over the past month my Conqueror's Blade Discord I run received a new feature of Forum channels. These function like good old fashion discussion forums and are the evolution of the Threads function.
As this feature is rolled out to the Gaiscioch server I will be replacing a lot of the channels with this new type of channel. I will also be creating a Gaiscioch Forums category to house most of them so they can be collapsible.
While I'm sad to say it, this feature will likely replace the forums on our website which have provided us with a fair share of search traffic over the years introducing new players to us. Though with the shift in how people interact these days our forums have become rarely used. So we will embrace change and hope for the best and hope that we don't lose our way along the journey. This will certainly make tying the forum feature easier to adventures moving forward and is one less thing I have to build and program.
