This month we will continue our exploration of Neverwinter on Wednesdays at 3 PM PT. With the Jewel of the North update landing on the PC version, we can expect to see it land on consoles in the next few months.
This upcoming update changes the core mechanic of the game, and could certainly make or break this 8-year-old MMORPG. The big change is the removal of experience bars making your levels be based on which part of the story you're on. They have also reduced the number of levels from 80 to 20. This was done to bring it in line with the current D&D ruleset and provide new adventures an easier time getting to the endgame to enjoy it with friends. How this will all play out is up in the air but we're crossing our fingers it's a change for the better.
