Over a decade ago we began this search for the next Chapter and diversified away from a single or two-game approach to try to harness the change in player behavior.
We've played dozens of games in search of a new chapter and found Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, World of Warcraft, and New World. In addition, we found an adventure that would bring our community fame and attention in Conqueror's Blade.
The thought of having another RIFT-sized chapter is growing more and more unrealistic and I feel it is time to focus more of my efforts on building more infrastructure for the games we have and any new chapter that might arrive.
While the smaller titles are fun to play with a lot of you they eat up a lot of my time. I could be working on systems that help sustain us and move us forward.
In October I'm going to be refocusing my efforts on our main chapters and succeeding adventures and then use the extra timeslots for web development so I can finish some of these projects that are stacked up. We will still support the little adventures, I'm just refocusing my time on the things that will keep us moving forward into our mid-twenties as a community.
