Oftentimes players of Conqueror's Blade forget that there are 2 ways to play this game. One is a path of war, the other is a path of diplomacy. Gaiscioch historically has played the path of diplomacy.
This season was a good example of how well that can work. We positioned ourselves in a place where we were given land. Some came to take it but our Underestimated strength prevented them from taking it on every assault. This season we saw assaults from Macedon, Valiance, Hurt, NoEvil, and the Cohorts.
We managed to secure and build an empire in the southern borderlands with Kerich reaching rank 5, Isont and Verula reaching rank 4, Breg reaching rank 3, with our late acquisitions of Hafren and Britta remaining at level 1. Our allies ODIN managed to secure and upgrade Sobek, Terleg, and Chenau to rank 2.
Overall this season was one of regaining our footing, learning the new system, and holding our ground against people who think we're easy money. We've placed ourselves in a place where we are frequently undervalued and underestimated which has played well for us during our 9 seasons. People don't expect what is about to hit them. That is our hidden strength.
Each member of our alliance should receive 195 Triumphs to start. Then they will gain additional Triumphs based on the titles they earned at the end of the season.
New for Season 10
With the removal of prosperity from the house roster, it is becoming increasingly more difficult for us to see who is contributing and who isn't. For end-of-season titles, we are left without a reliable metric to base them on. In season 9 I awarded them by who was attending the most territory wars and who stepped up to lead groups for us.

This next season we will be putting together 3 battalions. Each battalion will be split into 3 warbands with a leader and a co-leader. The battalion leaders and the Warband leaders will assign each person units to bring to that war to support their mission.

The Signup Sheet
For the next season, I have expanded on our Territory Wars Signup Sheet. My goal is to place all your character data on the Signup Sheet so that I can import it into the Gaiscioch.com site. I will be reworking the character pages on the site to allow for game-specific custom modules. In the case of Conqueror's Blade it will show your barracks and weapon proficiency.
How to fill out your data:
- Go to https://gsch.info/twsignup
- Click on the second tab for Gaiscioch (G - Roster) or the third tab for Odin (O - Roster)
- Scroll to find your name
- Update your Weapon Skills with the number of things you have unlocked. All weapon skills have 44 unlocks except for pike which is 14. Also, set your weapon preference primary and secondary.
- Update your Units with the level of each unit in the boxes corresponding to that unit. Do not list mercenary units.
- Update your player level. This can be found by opening your character sheet and looking in the top left. We want your actual level, not your season level.
Titles in Season 10
Next season we will be awarding titles based on attendance at our events. Members who claim participation for the weekly events will climb the leaderboard. We will be basing it entirely off participation as we don't have a reliable in-game way to measure anymore. For the end of the season titles, we will award them to the players who earned the most honour points in Conqueror's Blade for this season.
Now that said, remember any Lorgaire or higher can throw an event up on the calendar and organize a group. It would be great to see some of our battalions forming up for a practice siege night or perhaps run death matches together. We want to work on cohesion as much as possible.
