Gaiscioch has launched our adventure into Throne and Liberty on the Helpie Server. Initially, we launched into 4 guilds which filled up nearly immediately. As the initial wave has subsided and things are becoming more settled we've made some adjustments to help streamline the process. In this post, I'll outline our current setup to help you get to where you need to be and know what to expect.
The New Player Experience
Those who are just starting out are encouraged to join Gaiscioch Ogma our guild devoted to helping players go from 1-45. We regularly hit the XP boost and host events to help players gain levels and catch up to the endgame scene.
The End Game Experience
Once you reach 45 you are welcome to join either Gaiscioch Danu or Gaiscioch Lugh. These two guilds are focused on endgame activities such as Guild Boss Raids, Dungeons, and World Boss Events. We are aiming to gear up the whole community through loot Raffles and gear-boosting events.
Gaiscioch Danu
Endgame Raiding with a dash of PvP. Danu is the place where we aim to take the occasional Boonstone and Riftstone. To pull this off we need all our PvP-focused players to join us in Danu.
Weekly Schedule:
-
Boonstone Wars: Monday & Friday at 4PM PT
-
Riftstones Wars: Tuesday & Saturday at 4PM PT

Gaiscioch Lugh
Pure PvE goodness. If you're available Sunday Mornings for Guild Boss Raids this is the place for you. Weekend warriors are welcome in this guild focused entirely on PvE activities. Whether you enjoy Guild Bosses, World Bosses, Arch Bosses, or the odd Dungeon run this is the place to be for your peaceful PvE enjoyment.

Loot Rules & Policies
Gaiscioch has historically been a benevolent, compassionate, and charitable community. Things like greed and using the community for monetary gain have always been strictly forbidden. Throne & Liberty offers a unique challenge in the fact that their Auction Hall is based on real-world currency. This in turn makes "Greed" a whole lot more tempting. To combat this we are making all guilds distribution "To Guild" for any Epic or above items. When the Guild gets the item:
1. GENERAL LOOT:
For non-guild event runs loot might fall from world bosses and land in the distribution system. When it does we will first hold a loot roll with the people who attended that world boss event in the #tl-loot-rolls channel. The people in attendance will have 24 hours to type "**/roll sides:d100**" in the loot thread they are mentioned in before the thread is locked. If nobody needs the item a general guild raffle will be held to decide the winner of the item.
2. GUILD BOSS RAIDS:
Guild Boss Raids events will be divided into 4 Boss Sets. Players can win one Need raffle per set. (4 bosses).
The event leader will hold a "Need" /roll in the guild hall immediately following each Boss defeat. This will decide who gets each piece. If nobody "Needs" the item we will put it up for raffle in the respective channels.
Roll Priority:
- Will Equip The Item Now as an Upgrade
- Needs the item for Trait
During a "Need" roll, DO NOT ROLL on the item and then list it on the Auction. This is for items you will use right now. We need to gear up our people not profit off our people's efforts. If you win the item off the raffle you can do what you please, but NEED must always be before GREED in this community. I know it's tempting but we grow stronger by helping each other gear up. Personal Profits do not help us get stronger as a community.
This system will likely change as we continue to find ways to improve the experience. With a little luck, the game will give us new tools to make this easier.
