For those of you that are just joining us in Conqueror's Blade, you might not know the significance of where our clan has called home this season. Westweg was the original home base we established in Season 1 after trading a village in the south for it from our allies at the time named Cats. We were looking for a place to set up a training camp for new players where we could train them and teach them about Conqueror's Blade. Westweg was out of the way and served the perfect location where we could be left alone. It took a lot of diplomacy but we pulled it off.
In season 2, the big houses of our server liked what we were doing so much they let us grow to include Mainstadt, Nordtal and Fallenberg. At this time Gaiscioch couldn't even field 10 for territory wars and we were easily trampled when houses like brutaL, Khesigns, and Ming came. But that didn't stop the mission. We picked ourselves up and pushed on. In season 3 we realized we couldn't support or defend that much land so we gifted Nordtal and Fallenberg to the WoodcuttersUnion, which eventually tried to turn it back over to us and we gave Fallenberg to TheLionGuard a spinoff of the cohorts.
Now in Season 4 a group by the name of Durandon decided they were going to drive us out of Osteria and after an entire season of fighting tooth and nail for the land, we finally did a rope-a-dope and disappeared to Ungiveria in the final week securing several towns and a village before they realized where we had gone.
Season 5 saw the removal of Ostaria and we found ourselves as wandering nomads. We moved to Liangyun and upgraded a single village to rank 8, the highest ever recorded in Conqueror's Blade history. We spent the whole season defending our village and Deathbloods village down the hill from us.
In Season 6 we intended to go back to our homelands but after seeing the preview event and the breakdown of how different fiefs would be unlocked it became apparent that we would miss half the season of fief upgrade potential if we wanted to go there. We instead decided to head to the borderlands and secured a rather sizable chunk of land to farm and nurture.
Now that Season 7 has arrived our homelands we available from the start. So far this season we've had to fight every single territory war constantly to both secure and hold these lands. We faced off with BlackhandofNOD, Vornair, Cohorts, and NoEvil in just the first two territory wars. It's shaping up to be a great season to test out those troops we've unlocked the past 2 seasons. We also sent Deathblood/QinEmpire off to fight in the big war alongside the Valor alliance as they finally struck off on their own. We will be looking for a new small house to coach in the coming weeks. Our hope is to hold and upgrade our homelands and with a little luck and a lot of diplomacy get it upgraded to rank 5+ across the board.
Seeing our community go from a place where we had to ask permission to exist to be in a position where we can hold our own and hold our land against invading armies pretty consistently is quite a nice improvement. We've been seeing 40+ attend territory wars these past few weeks and things have been moving in the right direction.
