It was all going well. For 2 and a half years I managed to play people are lava at the highest tier and succeed. Sadly there comes a point in everyone citizen's life when you get summoned to jury duty. Being stuck in the basement with poor ventilation and no windows with 150 unmasked people for 4+ hours was the thing that finally got me.
By week's end I had a headache so I took a nap and felt better. The next day I had some hot and cold flashes but it didn't slow me down. By then my wife started showing actual COVID symptoms and we knew something was afoot.
The past few weeks I have canceled several of my events to take care of myself and my wife and see to it that we have the care we need. The weeks before that we were dealing with our cat who had to take a trip to ER and several visits to our local vet. All in all, July was a rough month and I apologize for my absence.

Hope you guys are doing better - COVID is no joke and there's a summer surge going on. Hope you both feel better soon!
