It's been a long time coming. When I first funded the House Founders Pack expecting to create a place where all of our allies could enjoy Conqueror's Blade we bought it under the name Tuatha. Unfortunately, most of our allies would steer away from the game, leaving us Gaiscioch with our alliance name and not our actual community name.
Before beta, I tried to have the name switched to no avail. Then the game introduced house Rename tokens a year later and we grew excited. However the day of launch we discovered House Founders Packs weren't eligible to use them.
This month however in a surprise patch they announced that they have enabled them to work on House Founders Packs and we were finally able to rebrand as the Gaiscioch we are. No more having to confuse people why our in-game name is Tuatha and all of our community stuff is Gaiscioch. It is all uniform now across the board.
What might this affect?
People who have known us as Tuatha might not realize the name change. We will do our best to convey the message but this may open us up to attacks. People claimed they would never attack Tuatha and well we are no longer Tuatha. It will take a few months to get the rebranding realized by the community but our emblem should help.
