Well, it was all going well until… This season started off gloriously. We fought in several battles and pulled off securing our corner. Got our fiefs to rank 7 before the end-game festivities began. Everything was primed and ready.
Then came the DDOS which brought the game to its knees. After a week and a half of ups and downs every 15 minutes they managed to get it under control. Three rounds of compensation were sent but then they pushed Project Nirvana live right at the start of Phase 5. Now the problems intensified and the rest of the season ended up being drill wars too. All in all, we only saw 13 of 21 territory wars this season. It certainly made a bad impression on a lot of new players.
That said, Gaiscioch isn't the type of community to give up on something just because the times are tough. We are gonna be back at it again next season hopefully with a more stable game. These problems will get worked out or the game will die. Either way, we plan to ride this thing out to the very end. I hope those of you who can stomach it will join me in this endeavor and those that can't please know you always have a home with us.
This season was a tough one and hopefully, in another 5 seasons, we can look back and say boy I'm sure glad this isn't like season 17. The sun will rise again, hang in there.
