Is it Feb 5th or March 5th? Write up says March 5th, the link says Feb 5th.
I've decided to shift our community conference schedule by 1 month. For the past 15 years, I've always tried to have it line up so the final session is on or around our birthday, however, the timing always falls poorly.
December & January are typically the dry months for news and progress in the games we play. It makes for a somber February conference. Usually, things start popping off at the end of January/Early February leading up to the first conference rush in March. Having the conference in March allows us to report on all the exciting announcements that are on the immediate horizon.
Our May Conference always took place right before E3 and Summer Games Fest. By moving it to mid-June we can highlight the best news to come out of the big show.
The August conference always happened right before PAX West, Gamescon, and DragonCon. Moving it back to mid-September lets us capture all the conference hype and news.
Lastly, our annual community conference in November often collides with Extra Life making it a really stressful time for me. By bumping the quarterly summits back 1 month I can get a much nicer, more relaxed schedule that should be easier and more newsworthy. It also will take place just after the annual Video Game awards which is the final news event of the year.
So the Summit dates for 2023 are:

1st Quarter Gaiscioch Community Summit
