Two more for the "family album"

Today was a busy day for Seabhran in PVE and Scenarios. She had to take her time taking advantage from the item she got from the Talabec Event. So, despite she wasn't able to attend to the Tuatha affairs earlier, at least Seabhran got the time to fight some battles and kick some Destrution heads. After a long night of battle and glory, one needs to relax a bit.

In her leisure time Seabhran likes to play some music... as almost all Shadow Warriors. These are some pictures of her taking some time to rest at Bitter Woods camp, in High Pass.

(I couldn't decide which one was better, so I decided to post both. Please excuse me for my silly sympathy for Seab. LOL)

Finally got my beautiful elven Sword and my PassWatch Bow...

(By the honor of the Empire... I am Seeeeeeeabhran) LOL

After a lot of great battles at Elf and Empire T3 fronts, finally got my PassWatch bow and Qhaysh Falcata (I'm not sure if that's the right name, but its a beautiful and powerful sword nonetheless). I'm probably saying goodbye to T3 with Seabhran now, but i would like to thank all the family members that fought at my side in these last days. I hope to meet you all again in the battle for T4.

Blessed Be.

Not bad for a second time leader...

I'm very tired from the long battle, but i need to share it with you...

We had a great campaign today at T3 Elf and Empire. First, we took almost everything, and then we kept chasing the forces of Destruction back and forth to demoralize them. We had more than 20 victories (sad thing I can't record them yet! But we had some ranked family members at the WB. Maybe they can help me with that, right?). The most amazing thing was... even when we were defeated now and then, people won't leave the Warbands. They were having fun! They were trustful that despite some defeats, we would win, and we would win big at the end. And we almost fliped both Elf and Empire -- Without doing any Scenarios or PVE. We just took and retook BO after BO, and defended (or retook) keep after keep, and got very close. If i wasn't too tired to go on, we would have a glorious double flip! Those who were there won't let me speak alone!

Thank you very much to all the family members that fought by our side! Thanks for trusting my lead, and thanks for the great help! You were all wonderful!

Blessed Be!

The taste of victory (against all odds)

Today I led my first campaign against the forces of Destruction.

It all started as a small Warband, little more than a simple group, led by someone else. We took some battle objectives in the Imperial T3 front before the former leader left us, leaving me on command. Having barely half Warband around me, we kept on with the guerilla campaing until we hit the tower just west of Passwatch Castle. It was then that the men started to rebel against all leadership and decided to act by their own ideas, spreading around the field and engaging in unorganized skirmish against the forces of Destruction. Half the group decided to ride north, while the rest was left to die at the hands of the cruel enemy. I was among the few that tried to defend the rearguard. And when I came to my senses, someone else had usurped the de facto leadership of the Warband. Resigned that maybe I was not a leader as passable as I dreamt I was, I decided to follow the new leader's orders. And thus he ordered us into a series of easy victories, until we hit the northern castle where the Destruction forces was walled in...

Some (passionate gaming) tales by the fire...

I have a long history with gaming. Since the days when the first Ataris made their way into Brazilian market, and into my living room, I fell deeply in love for the simple concept of playing all by myself in a fictional scenario provided by a machine. To make a very long story a little shorter, with the dawn of the MMORPGs I discovered it was much better not to play all by myself.

I've played Runescape (http://www.runescape.com) for almost 2 years before giving up to the colorful lure of World of Warcraft. It has been 6 intense months of gaming before I started to get tired of endless grinding and a sad lack of story. That was when some friends convinced me to try Warhammer Online.

I used to play Warhammer Fantasy RPG with these same friends, and learned to love the story of the Empire in its desperate fight against Chaos. It took me just too long to come out and play Warhammer Online too. Now it seems I'm trying to make up for the lost time.

And then I discovered Gaiscioch na Anu...

    Unbelievable Defense!
When we saw the first Destro running to our door at our newly claimed and upgraded Stoneclaw Castle, we knew we would have a hard fight. Destro has been roaming the battlefields with big hordes of caothic warriors, and we expected them to come in big numbers as the defense ensued...
  • Battle Recap:
    We fought!
That was a hard battle. Destro outnumbered us 5 to 2 and dominated the battlefields with iron hand. We fought valiantly to grasp at least some objectives and take some keeps, that could not be defended from the locust swarm of Destro that smashed at our doors moments after we captured...

    Delianath, the Young Blade
Delianath didn't always dream of being a warrior. When he was very young he enjoyed long walks at the peaceful forests of Ellyrion where he was born and dreamed of being a poet to sing the beauty that surrounded him. Then the war came, and he was urged by his grandfather -- a swordmaster himself -- to take up arms to defend his lands and people...

Despite the lack of physical similarities, Éirean is Seabhrán's younger sister. While her elder sibling left Ulthuan to fight the Destruction with the elven treaty troops, Eirean stayed behind to finish her Swordmaster training along with other elven warriors that were too young and inexperienced to be sent to fight along the Imperial Army...

We almost flipped it all again at T2
After Foghladha's glorious Trinity event, I got lead of the rags of one of the WBs. We rebuilt the WB, made an epic defense of Mandreds, then went on to retake Empire lands BO's (until we got a lock there), and then locked Elf lands again by making PQs...

    Seabhran's first campaign
This one was the first WB led by Seabhran at T4, and at the same time was the first WB led "officially" by Seabhran after finishing her Faolchú training. Still have a lot to learn but... hey!... We locked DW with 70 VP (due to underdog). =)

The furnace of the unspeakable pains
Once upon a time, Lillandera had a life, a family and a simple landscape of future ahead of her. Second daughter to a woodworker and a herbalist in the Nordlands, she only had thoughts to the simple house chores and to the petty talks of the village youth...

    Simple as an axe.
Karakhur is a raving madman. One could expect no less from a Slayer. It doesn't matter if he's charging headfirst in a mob of greenskins or if he's just pushing you to step aside so he can reach the bar to get another tankard of ale, he will stop at nothing and probably won't be stoped too...

Words almost as true as arrows...
Seabhrán is as quiet as one could expect from a Shadow Warrior, and sometimes even more so. Little is know about her past and background -- "it doesn't matter where you come from when we are all together in a war of survival", she says. Apart from unusual moments of elation after a victory in battle, and even more unusual wine driven moments of outspokeness, Seabhrán uses her words almost like she shoots her arrows: true, precise and straight to the target...
