This is a quick tutorial on the current build Im using for my Harbinger

A few key notes:

1. The Lightening blade is better for DPS

2. The Reapers blade (Scythe) is better for survivability

3. This is a self healing, solo build ment for mid-high dps with a sturdy, fun, experience

4. This is MY build, please tweak it to your liking, this is simply a base to work from

Macros:

#show Blade Rush

suppressmacrofailures

cast [notactive] Charged Blade

cast [notactive] Piercing Beam

cast Vorpal Slash

cast Storm's Fury

cast Storm Slash

cast Blade Rush

cast Vengeful Shock

cast Conditioned Response

This allows a quick spam through all the skills you need to execute during an encounter, once you get the feel down, it will work like a charm. Both charged beam and piercing beam are a great increase to damage.

Macro #2:

#show Tempest Winds

suppressmacrofailures

cast [notactive] Charged Blade

cast Tempest Winds

cast Vengeful Shock

Temptest wind's is a channeled spell. I have simply seperated it and added the proc for vengful should it hit. This is to be used in conjuction with the first macro

Rotation:

Spam through the first macro on your hot bar, when you see the eldritch proc hit fireball (or whatever your free cast assignment is).  I use fireball because its the hardest hitting nuke you can form from a low point skill tree. Make sure your hitting it EVERYTIME it proc's to get the best out of the rotation.

Suppliment damage with withering vines, and the second macro when your able to.

Video Reference of rotation and output:

I apologize for the Echo! Should be able to get the gest of it, just sound like a stadium announcer :D

Heals:

1. Bloom - this is your "oh crap" heal and is also good for keeping party members from biting it if they get to close to that elite

2. Radiant Spores - I suggest using this as offen as needed to help suppliment the heals from Lifegiving viel

Buffs:

1- Lifegiving Veil - This is a must and should be kept up at ALL times

2 - Eldritch Armor - This is an important proc buff for an increase in your damage

3 - I always keep up Flaring Glyph for the increase in spell power, but this is up to you.

Supplimental:

1- Phantom Blades: This will help when you need to get range on an enemy thats fleeting or when you want to pull from afar - Activate this and all melee attackes become ranged by 30m

2- Phase step: This allows you to zap between up to 5 enemies and do 2-3k damage per hit per target, simply select a target in a group and hit the spell then watch as you zoom around, its also a good pull opener when its up for that first burst of 2k + Damage

3- Planar Retreat: This is your "run away!" button, use this when you need to pull out of a bad situation, becareful whats behind you (cliffs) it can get ugly fast

4-Essence of wind: This is another oh crap button, this increases your dodge when you need to heal up or get out of there ASAP. Use this when engaging multiple mobs or when you need to get out of a bad situation

5- Introspection: This is good for a quick burst when your in need of mana

6- Blazing Light: This is handy for pulling or tagging a mob when its close to death

7 - Disabling Shock: This is a great skill for disabling your opponent when you need some time to prep, run or heal.

Shouldn't be surprised this is the first relevant result on Google for "Rift harbinger macros". Thank you!

Very nice, I love the Harbinger. I love playing like a tank, wading into battle with no fear without having to hide behind a giant elemental! One thing I did a bit different is to use Radiant Spores macro'd with Blade Rush. I don't like having a charge in my main spam button. Nothing like running out of a cleave and accidentally charging right back into it! Plus it sets up my spores right at the start of the fight. This is the macro I am using for the charge. #show Blade Rush suppressmacrofailures cast Radiant Spores cast Piercing beam cast blade rush I was using Storm Caller for the forked lightning, but it doesn't hit very hard compared to Fireball. I am gonna switch up to the pyro version soon. Thanks for the good info! edit: I tested it out and the [notactive] piercing beam and [notactive] blazing light don't seem to be working in the macro. I put blazing light at the end of the main spam macro, since it's ranged it will fire off it you are out of melee range and I added Piercing Beam to the blades rush macro.
