Server-Celestial Hills - Roleplay

Joining Guild

Once made your toon can hit ESC or Alt to bring up mouse cursor and the Social Icon which is the Crested Shield click on that then on Guilds of Server and search for "Oldroar Raiders' then hit apply to guild and anyone within the guild can accept just make sure you put in comment that your GSCH family.

You can get to the guild bank by talking to the Bank NPC in Island of Dawn and other Bank NPC throught the game.

Guild Tab 1 is for Crafting Mats and Recipes.

Guild Tab 2 is for Guild Tokens from repeatable,Locked Boxes we will sell in Broker for Guild Coin help us get Crystals and other things to gear are Instance(Dungeon) Raiders as we get coin saved up Plus Rings,Necklaces,Rings.

Guild Tab 3 is for Gear for Heavy,Leather and Cloth armor.

Guild Tab 4 is for Weapons.

Gold that is deposited into the guild bank will not be withdrawn untill we start gearing up for Instances and World Boss Raiding. So remember donations are expected.

Beyond that this well be were we will post anything about Tera Under the Misc Games Section from now on.

For Inventory Upgrades so far There is also a Quest gives you a upgrade aswell for free. 1st upgrade is 15 Silver. 2nd upgrade is 3 Gold. 3rd upgrade is 80 Gold.

I have a toon that is lvl 19 at the moment that I will move over when she hits 20. I might level all 8 of my toons to lvl 20 and move them over. The guild I am currently in is dead quite literally. There are only 10 people in the guild and I am at least 5 of those. Anyway, will contact you guys when I get my Mystic to lvl 20 tonight. Then will work to move all other toons over after lvling to 20 on them too. I am not super active in this game, in fact I have just recently come back now that it is free. Jen

How many people are in the guild right now? I have characters in Mount Tyrannis, but I put a bit of work into getting my two characters to around the mid-level. Iunno how to transfer.

Honestly viktor I would probably not transfer if your playing regularly. There are over 20 people in the guild now but the interest seems to have disappeared. I have not seen anyone really login for any considerable time in the last 2 weeks or so. I enjoy the game a lot so I been playing it regularly if you still feel like making a char or transferring Ill be around but to me it seems its died out unfortunately.

Thanks for the heads-up, Toros. Right now I'm in a vanarch guild called, "Nagas Stole my Bacon" They usually take in higher levels, but they liked me enough to make an exception. :D

I have not been on the game as much after trying it out the first week. One of the biggest turn offs is the very nasty language and topics I would not let any kids see that seems to be prominent in global and area speak. It is probably the worse I've seen of any game I've played. I like the game, but have to isolate myself from the garbage talk by turning global off and at higher levels even area chat was not good.

Turn Global off, its worthless. Its something they added more recently to get that type of chat off of the LFG channel. edit: also of note, Celestial Hills used to have a very strict "non-RP chat" policy enforced by EME. I'm guessing they've removed that policy.

Unfortunately tis the time we live in. Many communicate through shock value type communication. The more nasty/perverted/shocking the better in their minds. They are trying to one up each other and get some support along the way. I really wish Tera had a filter for this instead of just turning these channels off.

Still the best combat in any MMO to date for me. Your character does exactly what you tell it to (no laggy feeling)

ill prolly play Tera more once i get bored of Gw2..i dont have any 80s atm on gw2 soo im pretty determined...Tera is a great game i think ppl should give it a chance i played when it launched got a 52 slayer and 48 archer..fun game...right now im just focused on gw2 and getting a 80 for once :P..which i think will happen this week if i dont get side tracked

Yeah I turned off global on day 1 and I will turn off area when it gets bad. What I have noticed though is after you get out of lumber town area and into the higher level areas 20+ that bad chat seems to disappear a lot. I am now lvl 30+ and I have not seen that horrid trash talking in a few days. Unfortunately a lot of ftp games have that sort of talk going on. I have even seen it in GW2 recently just not as common as Tera. If anyone is still wanitng to play it I should still be around until probably Dragon Prophet, FFXIV and ESO start to take up my time hehe.

I am playing it.. just on a PVP server.

TERA has a "Mature" content rating, so no, it won't have any chat filters. As I said, Global is a recent addition, just for the purpose of redirecting trolling and spam away from the LFG channel, so just turn it off, you will never see anything of value on that channel. Its not like other games with a global chat channel, where its of some use for general chatter about the game. I do wonder why they stopped chat policing Celestial Hills, though.

They are still censoring it Sekkerhund just the moderators and GM's are not on all the time. It seems in the mornings at a certain time GM's show up and start throwing out warnings and banning people for a couple days to a few weeks. The problem is that the coverage for the chat is very light so there are a lot of time that no monitoring is going on hence the comments here.

Im playing Beylan my lvl 24 priest if anyone wants to group. ive been setting up a new company infrastructure the past two weeks so havent been online. Add me to friends and look for me and ill heal anyone that needs it. :-)

My 60's are on Mount Tyrannus, but I got my level 14 lancer on Celestial Hills into Oldroar Raiders. Looks like the party ended before I got here, though. I level with anyone if you all are still playing.

Jar, Viktor, who are your MT characters? Mine are "Kale" (Mystic) and "Chimay" (Lancer) in the guild, . Maybe we'll GvG. ;) I'll probably drop my Celestial Hills archer out of Oldroar Raiders and transfer her over, too. Not much happening on Celestial Hills.

Jar and Jarkal lvl 58 and lvl 20

I just learned that they added a new PvP BG for "equalized" 15 vs 15 mathces, where everyone has the same gear. We can earn the best possible PvP gear in the game there. I really like that decision. Now when we get to 60, we can go straight to some PvP and not get outgeared. Gear differential will still be critical in world PvP, of course.

I might give TERA a second shot if it doesn't fry my PC! I absolutely love the look, but it did seem a little "grindy" I did however, love the BAM fights - they got those right!

I guess all interest here has died out? I got hooked on the live action of this game again, and the Celestial Hills archer I made at the beginning of the month is now level 52. Fighting in mouselook is so comfortable. I'm barely aware of time passing.

I don't have any real interest in playing Tera anymore. Mostly because I main a priest and I'm usually stuck PLAYING ALONE because I'm not level 60 yet. That is, unless I do a dungeon.

Yeah it really never took off was more a fizzle out unfortunately. I had been playing it casual and when people started posting they were trying it I decided to play it more often and joined the family in a guild. For the first few days we had more then 10 online during peek hours. That lasted all of a week. After that it seemed to turn into a ghost town. I was severely bored with gw2 so decided to stick with it. It became pretty obvious I was basically the only one logging in so I stopped funding the guild bank. It takes 3 gold a week to keep it open of which you cannot use the guild banks cash to fund it which made no sense. I kept it open for a few more weeks but recently I have been given the opportunity to enjoy games I had bought but never played or finished. I therefore gave up on Tera.

If the equalized battle ground event this month becomes a permanent feature later this year, I'll be in Tera for the long haul. It's the closest thing to the old GW1 gear-equality PvP that many of us were hooked on for years. They just need more maps. Plus the cash shop in Tera has really nice stuff.

I still pop in here and there but really haven't been playing much (of any game) lately. Been too busy psyching up for FFXIV : A Realm Reborn hehehe Honestly most games don't seem to hold my interest for long these days. Maybe I'm semi burnt out after all these years. (been gaming since the late 70's. Console, BBS, online services, muds, MMO's, etc.) I've seen a lot of things come and go. Kinda hoping FFXIV will at least pull me back for a while :) if not there is always ESO coming up :D
