Day Events? and/or People Who Play During the Day

There used to be a lot more events during the day, and I was wondering what happened?  Even if they are just "Hey, let's do some story line quests!" or, "Let's follow event chains around", I'd be happy.

My work schedule changes from week to week, day to day.  Some days I work days, some I work afternoons.    I can't attend events on a regular basis, but the days I'm on afternoons, or the week days that I have off (I work every other weekend, so the weeks that I work on the weekend, I get my days off during the week) I'd love to be a part of an event.  I'd even start one myself, except, I can't do anything regularly.  It would change from week to week.  I've been working a lot of afternoons of late, so I can't attend the evening events, so I haven't been able to claim any participation stuff for quite a while now.

If anyone is on during the day a lot, maybe we can add each other to our contact lists and run around doing stuff?  If there were four of us, we can put it up and get participation points.  I'm MimiMerlot.8145 in game.

We're nearing the dark period of summer and things will likely lighten up here. We usually see about a 30% drop in activity over the summer months. This is normal. I know Balor used to run a lot of morning events but he is working on getting his real life in order and can't do it every day. That's understandable. The Eldership is actively looking at getting commander books into the peoples hands who show initiative, are not self serving, and follow the Gaiscioch Way. Hence one of the reasons for Prissi training up new leaders on fridays. Once we do the shakeup on the 8th things should get a bit more lively. Right now we're Gaiscioch/3 and after the 8th we'll be Gaiscioch/2. This should put more people in the room with you which should help in forming groups through the summer months.

I will be putting events on the calendar next week for around 11-2 server time. I hope this adds more events to kind of fill the dead times as I like to leave the prime time for elders/etc. I am gonna be doing a bit of everything I think, a little pve, a little wvw:) so come out and join if you have the time.

Yall can't handle me in the daytime. Ya sure you wanna go down this path? Its a dark one indeed.....

I'll definitely be joining your daytime events, Jessica. I'm on a lot during the days and afternoons and have been hoping someone would fill some of the empty calendar space :)

I have weird hours to tess. I log in do my dailies and kill some dragons but I'm always up to do anything though so let me know if you need a helping hand.

I'm hoping to run some WvW and PVE stuff after the compaction of the houses on the 8th. I'm going to buy a commander book for Baelvara once I get her to 80, which I wanted to get done this week, but it didn't happen. I still have plenty of time, though. However I have the same issue as you, Tess. My schedule is so random that I won't be able to schedule anything regular, so it will most likely be spontaneous and not on the calendar, or maybe 12-24 hours before. I'm going to need to pick up some temp work for extra income, so I'd hate to have something regular and cancel at last minute because I got a call to work.

Fog: Yeah. I figured as such. Jessica: On my weekdays off, I'd love to join. Unfortunately, I can't when working afternoons, because I'm EST, and that's right when I have to start work. Fatal and Sekkerhund: Sounds good. I'll look for you both. I'm going to be on vacation starting the 7th of June, but won't be on during the day then, 'cos we've decided to go DIY and put in a patio in the back yard. Evenings, both my husband and I will be on then, no doubt tired and sore from digging and lugging slate around.

We've been wanting more day faces for months because to be honest it has been primarily one person on week days when that person was available. Need two or three more daytime people since due to other things that have come and gone it is recommended you do no more than three events a week. For day time we really need people that run events from 6am server to 1pm server for sure. A little later on some days to match up with the week day holes where it might be 4pm start for the earliest event. I don't lead because I get distracted to easy by RL (Pets mostly and my MS too), so wind up behind the group more often than in the lead which I don't mind. I have jumped in here and there for about an hour to hour and a half to work with someone else to make a combo of three hours for an event though. Also, there are plenty of people in this time area that are around and who look at the calendar, so defintiely hop in and start doing stuff already. It's only been 8 months that we really wanted more leaders at this time frame. Most of the events in this time frame on weekdays has been one person with random mixes in. ;) I want fresh blood to chase after and tease. LOL! Jessica you know we will wind up having way too much fun.

When my days are free I am running a Quest line called Map Run, Which is in truth a Map Clear hang out in a zone and do as much as we can with the community over on the Raidcall 5012 channels.

I would love to see more morning people so if you are looking to do events in the morning just add me within game ( balor.8405 )and shoot me a ingame message I will most likely get that message before anything else so ^_^.
