I have so far found some dyes that are multicolored.  By this I mean they have more than one color and show a gradient or transition between the colors when applied.  The "Ocean" dye shows blue and green and the transition between blue and green.  The "Starry Night" dye shows blue and green.  The "Pine" dye shows green and brown.  The "Khaki" dye shows green and brown.  The "Olive" dye shows green and brown.   (I use light armor and don't know if this is true for heavy or medium armor.)

I think there are probably more of them.  Is there a red one?  A purple one?

Have you discovered any others like this?

Here is an example: Ocean dye

I'm not sure this is accurate. I believe you're talking about the color variation of dyes applied to certain armor types (heavy, medium and light) and within those armor types there's variation of 'fabric' that make the dye brighter or more dull. Also, the pattern on the affected portion of the armor will cause different results from different dyes. Jand

I know that if you apply robin dye to the "sailor moon" light armor, it turns green on parts so it might be what you are referring to. It does that on all kinds of armor though. A lot of my medium armors dye kinda wierd too, or different depending on set.

Yea, I don't think its on purpose. I think its a bug in the graphic engine. It seems like they were going for subtle shading differences to enhance a more 3d effect, and it came out as slight changes in hue. If you turn Shaders on High, you will notice a bug in lighting source, too.

I noticed some armor has a gradient quality, but the same dye falls completely "flat" on a different armor type
