Hello,
I am in the market to get a gaming headset/mic.
Was hoping to get input from the Gaiscioch community on what your preferred go-to headset/mic is?
Thanks,
Garyc

Hi,
Thought I'd share with you what I use. A couple of months ago, I bought a HYPERX Cloud Core. It works on multiple devices (PC, MAC, Wii, PS, Android) and talk systems (Discord/TS/etc). The mic is detachable. It also has a long braided cable. I find it very comfortable and my husband thought it felt and sounded good as well. I think I paid between $40-50. I was going to get a different model but I really liked the aluminum frame (over the molded.)

Thoi, thank you for the suggestion. I see they are $60 on Amazon, and $70 at Gamestop or Best Buy. Do you mind me asking where you got them? $40-$50 sounds better to me. :)
I like how the mic is detachable. That is pretty interesting.
I bought mine at Best Buy. I think I got it on sale. ... I found my receipt. I paid $59.99 and it was $10.00 off. :) LOL Even though it was more than I thought, it was worth it.
Hi Gary,
I recently bought some noise-cancelling over-ear headphones with built-in mic and wired or wireless bluetooth modes. They sound pretty good to me. $35 on Amazon. Here is the link to check out:
I have been really happy with them so far.
My wife and I have been using Logitech G430s for the past couple of years. They have awesome sound and are very comfortable. The ear cups have an athletic mesh fiber instead of pleather. It makes them very breathable for long play sessions and super easy to clean. They also come with a USB dongle that can be used with Logitech's gaming software to enable virtual surround.
Atm, I use this wireless Corsair VOID set (bought for $80) and then I have a wired NOX Audio set (not the same as link, but similar) that I picked up several years ago.
I use the VOID for PC and consoles, the USB dongle is very portable. Can use VOID while charging (I might need to get a slightly longer USB to USB-C cord), so not been a problem for long days.
I have two favorites that I use interchangeably:
