Background:
Sirion of House Telari, born on the 4th day of the First Seed, 2E 553, was raised in the royal court of King Hidellith of the Summerset Isle. He was only a 10 years old when the King’s daughter, Princess Ayrenn, disappeared. Sirion’s father, Nylan, was a member of the Justiciars who was tasked with finding the Princess. The Justiciars failed this task, and the princess did not return for some 17 years. She returned unexpectedly upon the death of her father, King Hidellith, in 2E 580.
Sirion became a Paladin of Stendarr, one of the Nine Aedra worshipped by the Altmer, in 2E 575. After Queen Ayrenn’s coronation in 2E 580, he was recruited into her personal guard. He served her faithfully for 3 years, until the day the daedra invaded.
Sirion’s family was slain in the attack, and he was certain that he would die with them. However, he awoke in a cell in Coldharbour, realizing that something was very wrong. He felt empty inside, as if his soul had been stripped from his body. His soul had been taken by Molag Bal, the Daedric Prince of domination and enslavement.
With the aid of Lyris Titanborn and the Prophet, Sirion escaped Coldharbour. However, he was not returned to the Summerset Isle as he expected. Instead, he was dropped into Skyrim, at the hands of the Nords. He was immediately taken captive due to the Nords’ distrust of Altmer, but escaped when members of the Daggerfall Covenant invaded and burned down the village.
After escaping with a group of nord refugees, Sirion found his way to the town of Davon’s Watch, which was besieged by daedra and undead. It seemed Molag Bal’s forces had not only invaded his homeland, but those of the other races as well. He encountered a regiment of dunmer outside the gates of the town fighting a large group of daedra. They were slowly being overcome, but as his oath to Stendarr dictates, Sirion must destroy these unnatural beings wherever he finds them.
Sirion entered the fray, taking the daedra by surprise. Bolts of sunfire blasted down several before they could react. Half of the remaining daedra turned their attention to him, hoping to overcome him before he could do more damage. But Sirion’s magic was too strong, keeping his foes at bay while his sword cleaved through each of them one by one. The dunmer, momentarily stunned by the sight of an altmer coming to their aid, quickly regained their senses and charged their enemies, slaying several and sending the rest of them into retreat. They cheered and banged on their shields as the daedra ran.
The soldiers bowed to Sirion, thanking him for saving them. The leader offered to escort him into the town so he could present him to the Mayor. He wished him to know who was responsible for saving the town. The Mayor offered him citizenship, and proclaimed to the town that Sirion would always be welcomed there.
Striving to make the best of his situation, Sirion soon befriended many of the dunmer, nords and argonians that inhabit Davon’s Watch by helping them difficult tasks whenever he could. His combat abilities quickly earned him a place in the fighter’s guild, and the respect of the townsfolk. It seemed he had found a new home.
It is here that we join Sirion in his journey, having found friends and companions in the most unlikely of places.
