Seems like very exciting updates! Not sure when the "future" updates will be coming in, but at least the Update 1 looks good.

Lots of the things we love about Elder Scrolls series is coming to ESO too! Justice system! Thieves! Brotherhood! Spellcrafting too?!!! Of course that might be a 2014-2015 update. But personally I love ESO PvE since it plays so much like your ES single player games. Just that this has added excitement of community and family. Moreover, when people quit ESO by 3-6 months mark, this game will still be lively because of megaserver. I can foresee myself staying in ESO for reasonable amount of time especially as long as Gaisciosh is in it for the AvA too. Now .... we only hope there's no subscription fees. :D

Been loving the game so far and going to be loving it even more soon! I am glad that they are posting their vision for the future and some of the updates really exciting. I am really interested in this "spellcrafting" idea. That could mean a lot of things ^_^

Fixing these problems required us to take the megaservers offline, costing players time in the game. Awesome PR right there, just what ESO needed to combat the haters I think.  Not that some folks won't stop hating, but I'm pleased to see that the Dev's are still on top of things and doing the best they can to fix stuff. I don't even care if they give me free time I'm happy to throw money at them if they keep working at it :)

I'm happy to see they will address phasing while grouped and dungeons while grouped with lower levels.

One hopes the future of ESO includes addressing some horrible mechanics that are breaking PVP. On top of the Light Attack>Ability>Bash animation cancel burst we now have Vampire Sorceror 0 Ultimate cost builds running around. I hope the developers are paying attention because it's becoming rather discouraging to enter the PVP area with mechanics like that, even if you use them.

"Better Leader Chevrons to direct players in PvP coming with patch 1.2

• Vampire issues in Cyrodiil is something we are aware and some changes are coming next week

• Pacing of the war has been as expected in some campaigns and not in others. We’re aware of the issues of population and scoring imbalances and working on adjustments in future patches. All that being said, the keeps are getting a bump in difficulty in the first patch which may slow down the rate of their individual capture times.

  • Fixed the bug where multiple Bat Swarms can be stacked on the same Vampire.
  • Reduced the movement speed bonus durring mist form to 30% (which makes it equivalent to the “Boundless storm” morph of Lightning form)
  • Reduced the Vampire ability cost reduction to 7% per stage"

I don't want knee jerk reactions on their part in fixing things that appear to be borked - as long as they are aware and adjusting that's what we should expect.

Thanks for pointing that out, Morigana. I was not advocating knee jerk reactions. I know balance in PVP is an ongoing and difficult issue. It's good to see that at least one of the very obvious issues is being addressed. 

Oh no Mickey - I know you aren't - I was just pointing out that they appear to be monitoring and taking gradual steps instead of like some companies in the past that went way too far the other way. 

I also know from listening to one of the Vamps in our family - it doesn't work that way for them - so one never knows if it is an exploit, a bug, or ???? it is just good to know they have their eyes open.

It's great that they are fixing those things.. but they also need to fix some of the other pvp mechanics as well, like being able to deploy boiling oil out in the middle of a field during a fight to AoE everyone.  That's probably 'working as intended' though.  :(
