Freeing up bank space

I'm sure most of you already figured this out long ago but I'm slow.   If you're like me and got your explorers pack on day one and said ooohhhh shiny things and clicked on everything to find that you just opened 30 different treasure maps most of which you wont use for quite some time taking up a considerable amount of bag space, I just this weekend took the time to say, oh, heres an idea, create a new character, and store my maps pets and other unused items on it which I can grab when needed.  Now I just keep my crafting mats in my bank and it is considerably easier to manage.

Yeah i'm up to four alts for bank storage.  two of them do crafting as well.  I'll downsize at some point once i get thru the VR levels and donate what i no longer need.

The first day I actually /bug reported the maps not being able to be deposited in the bank while still "packed" in their chests.  I explained to ESO CS that if I was made to unpack them I would have to create an alt that I would never play just to store these maps as most of them are way too high a level for me even to go searching for - if I wanted to go looking for them - and it was a waste of valuable bank space to save them there.

After a week of toting them around and still being able to deposit the chests - I created an alt just to hold all the unpacked maps.  That level 3 alt still sits by the bank holding these maps - and that is all she does.  Luckily she is very faithful to me since I have yet to hear her complain.   My highest level character is actually my crafter - atm - and holds all my crafting materials.  If I don't go back and play her as my "adventurer" again then I will end up respeccing her skill points and she will probably have enough points to be a full blown crafter in cloth and wood - which is what I use for the most part.

Thats what I did also. I have 4 bank alts that is 240 slots.

All I need is 4 classed to play with.

I know about bank space and bags that your toon has my warrior my main has the max bags 8 most are 15 slot but I have 133 slots and my bank has 11 panes 330 slots and I got the expansion on the materials part of the bank to increase the amount from 250 to 500 and I am still having problems with storage specially when they made all dyes, equipment account bound, does anyone need dyes I have like 40+ if you need some send mail to Elequin.7169 in GW1 I had to buy char slots just to have storage I had 15 mules our guild leader (ISA) had 3 accounts and 79 chars, but he's not liking GW2 so sad...
