Pretty cool, right?
Wow, the time and effort they put into their credits has blown me away. All the changing backgrounds were beautiful. It makes me feel that the number 1 focus of the dev team is to create an amazing game, not to make as much money as they can. I soooooo hope this game is a WoW killer.
That's the reason (the number of people) that they purportedly spent $200M dollars on producing this game :)
my favorite part of the credits was the music, i even left it on in the background while i cleaned... gonna find this to download for my music player :D
Hi all
A lot of the music was done by Malukah. She did the credit songs and they have those songs in game at the public houses and town squares. They used the same approach for other musicians that do the bard tunes. All the tunes are originals made just for ESO and reflect the lore if you listen to them. I knew I was in beta and time was short but I listened to them anyway. I think the approach of original lore tunes and letting the musicians write and perform them was just fantastic. Here is the link to Malukah's site where you can download her tunes.

Anybody that rushes through this game is going to miss out on a lot of wonderfull
as always
Leave the swords......Take the MEAD!!!
I'm suprised it's not more, there's a list at http://mashable.com/2013/09/18/most-expensive-video-games/
"The creation of Grand Theft Auto V cost an estimated $265 million, making it the video game with the highest production budget of all time.
2011's Star Wars: The Old Republic isn't far behind, with an estimated production cost of $200 million."
Surely they spent more on this than Star Wars, this seems way more polished than SWTOR did at launch, and with a lot more content.
I think Bioware spent more on swtor than ESO. Swtor storyline seems very handcrafted even the side quests. On top of that they also have the SW licensing. Plus EA marketed swtor crazy. Can't imagine the actual budget. I heard some people mentioned close to $300 million including marketing.
It really was awesome - loved the music. ...and I too would sit in the taverns and listen to the songs. They did a really nice job with sights and sounds.
Only one thing...
After "Human Resources" appeared in the credits I expected next to see:
Orc Resources. Bosmer Resources, Argonian Resources.... etc.
Have I been playing fantasy games too long ;)
