was thinking of running an event when the game goes lives, Event would consist of running quest lines to help ppl level up there toons either starting in Bleakrock or Stonefalls... was wondering if this would be something ppl are interested in and if it they are, whether or not I can eventually post this up on the calendar.... I know not everyone wants to rush through content, but I know a lot of pl want to get to lvl 10 as fast as possible....
On release day, a series of scheduled start times for members to meet in Raidcall and form 4-man groups before playing would look impressive. Not everyone will log on at release hour. However, there could be a routine for the first day (or two) where members could wait in Raidcall for the next available full group before starting their TESO character. It would show some serious family-spirit for members to "wait" in an "out-of-game queue" like that on release day.
I know i'll be creating multiple toons, so switching up toons and helping more groups along wouldn't be a problem :) I'm EST time also so I am around for early groups
I will also probably create about five toons to get the names I want. So switching around wouldn't be an issue either.
I'll most likely have a number of toons as well so I'll be joining any groups I have toons in the same level range as.
Sunday I anticipate playing from start til maybe midnight CST with a break for Walking Dead, dinner, etc. Monday I'll be playing all day, with a break at 8 pm CST for a couple shows and then maybe another hour or two after the shows. Tuesday I'll be playing all day and stopping around 6 PM CST. Real life takes into effect after that hehe.
Also just a heads up. You can complete all game content, excluding group dungeons and story quest, in a raidgroup. So your groups can be as large as 24 people. We did some map clears in the beta with about 15 people in the group. It works great.
That said, when questing in a group of that size it is important to maintain control of the group around quest objectives like skulls and torches to ensure everyone stays together.
thanx for the head up Poohka, pretty sure i'll organise an event for this now, will have to work out the times and details but I still have a bit of time before launch to figure that out, unless one of the elders has this already plannned
Since the first day of play is on March 30 I should be online as soon and I have some coffee and can find my computer. :-)
I go at my own pace which is slow - but I will be in RC at 4 a.m. PST, as well as zone chat (since Fog won't be up to start the guild until later) to answer questions on quests and general game issues (where's the bank? how do I craft? where do I get Jute? How do I get my Imperial Horse? Where's the mail box? etc.) I expect loads of fun the first week :)
yeah I wasn't thinking of running this first day out of the box, think with the early start time ( witch is nice for me :) I realise that there will e more important and pressing issues to do, get guild organised and invites sent out, and like Morigana mention a lot of questions to answer :)
maybe the elders can jump in and let me know if they agree with this and what they would suggest for this event,,, would like to have more of an active role in leading events, the reason why I'm throwing ideas out there, but if I'm to early at it just let me know
I'll be here on Release day for 16hrs straight everyday if anyone needs a hand with anything.
Well - actually even the first day - running groups through Crow's Wood, Fungal Grotto and a couple of the other challenging aspects of Stonefalls - such as the Skull/Crossbone champs isn't a bad idea. I just know with all the questions I tend to answer I don't have the time to be in a group except for sporadically during the first few days - and I will probably stick around in Stonefalls until a few days after the official launch just to attempt to help people work through the area.
I truly believe if players can make it out of Stonefalls they will fall in love with the game as much as I have. :)
I never got out of Stonefalls except I spent a couple hours in AvA this last beta weekend. In fact, I probably have only seen half of Stonefalls so I'm really excited to see more!
On release, it will definitely be helpful to power through stonefalls together in a quick and efficient manner to move onto the Deshaan content. Stonefalls is going to get overcrowded and buggy so it's best to push ahead of the masses if possible.
Ill probably be creating a lizard pally healer to play with my gf but since i dont anticipate her playing nearly as much as me ill have an imperial nightblade to play when shes not playing so i can keep the healer where she is in game, at least until shes comfortable enough with the game that i can go off on my own :P so add me to the list of multiple chars and willing to wait for others, im joining ESO and specifically gaiscioch for the social aspect, ive done the hardcore endgaming thing in wow years ago and i never wanna do that again, id rather level slow and gear up slow with freinds and family then be the first one to beat molag bal
I'm familiar with the 3 starting dungeons and will be happy to run them with people as needed.
I'll also be happy to start in on some AvA/RvR when needed. Is there a plan to start up a raid to grab a keep, or perhaps run some of the dungeons out in Cyrodiil?

I am so logging on at release time. Do think God will understand if I skip church that Sunday?
I plan to be around from about T-minus 3 hours (just in case they release early to try and ease the H-Hour meltdown), and my plan for the first few hours will be to wander around Bleakrock (hopefully with Karen and Ice with space for A.N.Other), introduce them to the game (Karen especially, as she didn't get into the beta), and just try to enjoy the experience despite the crowds *chuckle*. I have a feeling, however, that the environment is going to be somewhat like the stadium on Superbowl Sunday...
