Quick little video explaining mounts.

A question.  Can you have multiple mounts and switch between them?  Maybe one dedicated to speed on one to carrying inventory?

Yes - you can have multiple mounts you just have to buy stable space which for the first slot was just 10g in beta - next one was 100g - I didn't go past that but I did have 3 mounts on the one character - one active and two in the stable. 

The offset to this is feeding all those mounts can get very expensive when your low level.  So you have to budget this out - since if you aren't going to feed them  to level them - then why do you have them?  Just plan accordingly...

Ohhh - and from what I saw - if you have the Pack Horse in the stable and are using the speed mount - you lose the inventory space (which shows up as extra bag space on your character).

I plan on getting enough gold to buy the Pack Horse which starts with 10 slots and then leveling her speed and stamina - mainly because she is the prettiest horse :)  I prefer being on foot most of the time anyway.

Do you have to go back to the stable to change which mount you are using?

Yes - you do... it is in "the stable" so it isn't in that "mythical" other dimension somewhere on your body or close by you so that you can call it.  You can only call the active one.  Good thing is - there seemed to be quite a few stables.

Level, feed and maintain your horse is so important. This just adds so much more depth into ESO.

This is awesome. Max speed or max stamina...

You have speed, stamina, and bag slots - it is a lot to consider.  We all know what speed does and bag slots... but stamina might be just as important - or more.  It lets you sprint on your horse longer and also lets you take more damage before being knocked off your horse.

So the choice is yours and I'm not so sure there is a wrong one.

Hoping we'll eventually find Shadowmere and Hircine's Unicorn.

lol...good point.  I hope they have a quest that can unlock some legendary horse/riding creature, that would be cool.
