Hello. Well I have asked all over and can not seem to get a good answer.  About how many skill points  does a average person have at  50th. yes I know of all the different styles of play and paths that can be taken.  I am looking for a solid number of skill points that one would have if they do most of all they are suppost too at 50th. Thank you ahead of time for replies.

You get 49 for leveling to 50.

Main story quests, Skyshards is up to you to get more skill points.

You will have enough skill points to get every skill after you hit 50 and then the 50+ and 50++ area.

I've had trouble finding anything on the number of skill points you could possibly have as well. I know there must be a cap because there are articles about it not being possible to max out all skill paths at launch, but I can't find anywhere that's calculated the cap. I'm guessing you have a minimum of 50, and then that can jump up to (no of skyshards/3)+50. But I didn't add up all the skyshards listed in the journal when I was in for the last beta weekend... so I have no idea what the figure is for the skyshards. Not entirely sure what other methods there are for gaining skill points either.

So in short... I can't answer your question and I'm not much help lol

Yes  I know one can gain skill points from 1: leveling, 2: main quest lines, 3: sky shards, 4: dungeon quests, 5: some world bosses, 6; completely quest lines in other alliance lands...

guess I am hoping to get a answer something like this ::

"  yes I hit 50th. I did most of all the quests including the mainline. I did each dungeon at least once for the point there, I got by far most of the sky shards in game. and  I had  X amount of total skill points  after all this..."

Anaitis  THANK YOU.!! This is very close to what I needed to know. and more then Id hoped .  Im glad that I can build exactly how I want in a good enough time frame.. but on the other hand im not sure if I like that all skills/classes can be maxed by all players. But I can get over it lol.  Thanks again.

No probs, the classes being maxed by one character I believe is untrue. You'd have to have one character for each class. So your character will only have the standard three paths related to class... but yes, those three paths can be eventually maxed.

from what i've heard, the skill points should top off at around 100, 50 for leveling 50 for quests and sky shards,  it was created so that you could master 1 crafting skill 1 guild skill set. If you branch off alot you can have many skills sets but will not be a master.

It is definitely more than 100.  It might only be around 100 by the time you hit 50, but then there is all the veteran stuff in the other two alliances you go through.  So you can get a good deal of points from the other two alliances to help fill in and reach a couple hundred easy.

The other thing is you might not want to try to flesh out every skill on all three class lines.  After all, at L15 with weapon swap you still only have 10 skill slots and 2 ultimate slots at any given time and you might want to mix in some weapon skills too.  With morphing before 50 you will only need 2 skill points per each skill you take - one to get it and one to morph it.  So it is a matter of picking what options you want on your character for the first two weapon sets and then maybe working to more if you like.  Only skills on the active bar will increase in strength.

I think it is quite reasonable to have a strong character for fighting and work on two crafts at once, but that is all up to you.  This game really will let you build the way you want to play.  Sure some setups are more viable than others with the game, but the game allows you to even have a solo and a group setup of how you do your skills as you grow.  There is that much flexibility.

Don't mess with Mama Bear, I might hug you too tight. =D

Theres 16 Dungeons too, if you complete them all you have 16 extra points. There are 87 Skyshards in every alliance so... more 29 skill points since every 3 you get another one. And the achievements that I don't know exactly how many you get skill points, but I'm guessing around 10 to 20 so... My guess is around 90-110 skill points in the lvl 50.
