I'm definitely going to pre-purchase, I agree with the idea of separate threads for those handing off their voucher (assuming it's a one-time use). IMO i was fine with the racial decisions pre-Imperial option, and don't think I'm going to go with it.

On a separate note, the "any race any alliance" has me all sorts of confused. At first take I'm not liking it one bit. I'm not playing alongside with any paw licking Kajit! :p

The extra 25% code you get it locked to your GMG account. It's designed for you to buy a friend a copy. So you can't hand them off, you have to actually buy it for them.

If you need a discount code that works for everyone there is a 20% code for GMG but it's only good for a short while, though it's good for either Digital version.

I've never used GameFly for digital purchases (though some friends have) but they were fine when I used their original mail service for console games.

I am pre-ordering at Best Buy.  There is a third addition not listed on the ESO website for some reason.  It is the Imperial edition with a statue and some other little items and is listed at $100.   I'm stopping off after work to place my pre-order.

@ Ammodawg, that's the RETAIL Imperial Edition (vs the digital one). the previous versions on this post I believe are all digital.

Yep, from what I can see it just adds the statue and I think maybe a printed map.

Are the versions in Green Man Gaming only supporting the PC version of ESO? Because I wanted to buy it there but can't find any Mac version download. :(

I think if you purchase the game and use the key to register the game you should have your choice of which version to download.

Wife and I just got ours through green man gaming with the voucher. Yay for 25% off of Imperial version. Now we just have to wait...

USD 60 with exchange rate AUD 68.65 yet we are being charged AUD 89.95 = AUD 21.35 more (31%)

Imperial

USD 80 with exchange rate AUD 91.42 yet we are being charged 119.95 = 28.53 more (31%)

I don't quite understand how it costs 30% more because I live in Australia when I download it from the exact same server in the US, when I pay for the delivery (ISP) and any currency conversions!

It is even worse in Mexican Peso, they have to pay 1300% 

You can't compare currency rates 1:1, in theory you could have speculated on the currency exchange and gotten it cheaper.  So you are not being gauged, prices are just set in USD and other countries just have to follow, because the software developer are not going to take a cut just because someone is from another country.  If they did, then people would just buy them in the cheapest country.

Darack maybe I can help you get a copy as I'm in Canada.With a 25% discount of the Imperial and my exchange rate, cost would be roughly $67-75 CAD, varies on exchange rate at that time.

AUS has quiet a few taxes on games, which you should blame your government for, as it is not exchange rate.
