T1 King's Breach

By: Cindermist

T1 King's Breach

Bosses:
1. Hunter Suleng
2. Ravalos
3. Manticore Sentries
4. Shadehorror Phantasm
5. Konstantin

1. Hunter Suleng - Position counts in this fight. Suleng cleaves so you don't want to be in front. This

isn't a very hard fight, but you do need to pay attention a bit. Every so often Suleng will summon two

wolf adds. You need to stop dpsing Suleng and kill off the wolf adds. Then back to suleng again. Lather,

rinse, repeat till dead.

2. Ravalos- He has four attacks. First is Gaze of the Basilisk which is an AoE stun which is

dispellable. The second is called Crystalized Goo which is target based. It is an AoE ground attack that

slows the player and puts a DoT on them. The third is a rear cleave tail lash. It cleaves and knocks

back and does substantial damage. The last attack is called Petrify which is cast on the tank, reducing

their dodge, parry and block. This one is unavoidable.

Place your healers and dps at ranged, all staying to the side of Ravalos. Stay out of the ground

effects, avoid the cleaves and blast till dead.

3. Manticore Sentries - Mondrach and Autoch - Whereas in normal mode you face one or the other, in

expert you face both of them. Mondrach is a caster. Autoch is a meleer, physical dmg. kind of guy.

Mondrach as four abilities:
1. Dark Impact - this an AoE knockback and damage. The tank should put his back against a wall to fight

him.
2. Ebon Bolt - He casts this three times in a row, so healers will have to be alert for fast health

drops.
3. Manticore Venom - Frontal AoE that will do a lot of damage, so party members should be behind

Mondrach to avoid it.
4. Crimson Pyre - Ground based AoE damage ability that will target the person with the second highest

threat. Don't stand it, it's all kinds of hurt.

Autoch has three abilities:
1. Manticore Venom - See above.
2. Wound charge - He will randomly charge a member of the party. He packs a whollop and also places a

strong DoT on that players. Healers need to act fast to both heal and cure.
3. Wild Assault - Heavy damage and knockback on the tank.

A secondary healer/bard is a huge help in this fight. Tank places his back against a wall. Party avoids

the ground effect damages and stays out of the front damage. Party will get knocked back now and then,

but be aware of positioning and get back into into the fight as soon as possible. This is a healer

instensive fight. Tank needs to stay on wall and not chase Autoch when he charges other players. Kill

Autoch first, then stack up behind Mondrach and kill him. Cure and Purge Venoms.

4. Shadehorror Phantasm - This boss summons adds and has one other attack called Void Storm. If you get

out of LoS of the boss, it will cancel the Void Storm. These attacks are timed so they are fairly easy

to anticipate. He also yells out that he is about to do them, which makes it even easier.

There are two strategies that I've seen and done, but I think the second one, tanking him out in the

main room with the tree is far more difficult to get right and succeed. I'm going to be explaining the

one that makes this fight easy peasy for all involved.

The Phantasm is in a room with a column in the center. The tank is the ONLY one who should be in that

room during the fight. The rest of the party stands behind the walls to either side of the doorway. It

doesn't matter which side. The tank runs in and starts the fight. The boss will call out something about

his Blood Boiling. When that happens, no matter what you are casting, stop and duck behind the wall out

of LoS of the boss. The tank runs around the other side of the column and gets out of LoS that way. This

will cause Void Storm to cancel. Fight continues.

You will then see a message saying something about needing more bones. This is the add summon ability.

He will summon one add per group member called Wounding Shades. They have an aura that pulses an AoE

called Wounding Shadows. You can kite them, kill them or use CC on them if you get any. They have few

hps but their DoT does a lot of damage. Best thing is to not get any and you do that by doing the same

thing you did in the first phase. Run behind the wall and break LoS. That will cause him to stop

summoning the adds altogether. Trust me, you would rather not have to deal with those adds if possible.

Keep doing this little dance over and over and the boss dies. Once you get the hang of it, its a very

easy fight. Takes some organization and a group paying attention though.

5. Konstanin - This guy was added for the expert mode. After you kill the Phantasm you take a stroll and

end up in a crypt-like building. Konstantin is at the bottom. You will notice by now that there are

holes on the ground and pillars. There are constantly spikes coming out of them. You will get warning of

an imminent attack with puffs of steam coming out of the holes. When you see that... move.

The fight is not terribly complicated, but can be difficult to pull off. Konstantin has two attacks;

Cleave and a small, but predictable, point-blank AoE that needs to be avoided, even by the tank. So long

as you can avoid the spikes and stay away from his AoE damage, you can down Konstantin.
