Aylune Posted a Battle Recap: Jaws Of Plaguemaw
It was during a second excursion into Raforfen Down when the part encountered it. An undead quillboar larger and mightier than the rest. A lumbering undead beast that oozed pestilence from every pore, with disease pouring from it's gaping mouth. A creature they could only call Plaguemaw. The party had thought themselves prepared after their first five into this dungeon of pigs, but the pigmen still had surprises hidden in the depths. While the undead menace caused many diseases throughout the fights hey had been relatively tame, slow illnesses which left them weak but still able-bodied...

Aylune Posted a Battle Recap: Lost In The Lost City
The hunting party was tasked with a new mission, or several really. Dwarven archaeologists uncovered an ancient city. A huge complex burried deep beneath the firey sands of The Badlands. Upon this discovery came great opportunity, and it seemed everyone had a quest they needed completed. With such abundant work it was clear Uldaman was the place to go and it was here where our party became lost in the once lost city. The tunnels leading to the ruins were long and convoluted. There were many tunnels that seemed to lead nowhere, many tunnels that turned around on themselves, and some that led to dangerous drops, and every tunnel was filed with the opportunistic dark iron dwarves, eager to raid the bounty before them...

Varder Posted a Battle Recap: Uldaman First time in Years
I remembered a lot and forgot a lot. Was a good run, though we were a little squishy on the last boss. Always fun times running with Guild mates. Thanks for the invite.

Aylune Posted a Battle Recap: This Little Piggy
While the members that composed this party usually went questing for glory this adventure was born from different desires. The mission was instead a mission of compassion, a quest to furfil a dying man's mumbled final words. The dying wish of an unfortunate alliance member who fell from the top of the thousand needles elevator. The quest was different another way as well, instead of being safely nestled in alliance territory this mission sent the party into the heart of horde country. It sent them to a place so decrepit it earned the name "The Barrens...

Aylune Posted a Battle Recap: Stomping On Landmines In Gnomergan
This is the story of Raid Group 3, which ventured into Gnomergan. On this epic adventure 9 vastly overpowered individuals and one undersized delicious piece of bait, a level 19 gnome mage, ventured forth into the irradiated bowels of gnomergan. The crew expected little trouble, all well equipped to handle the foes within, instead they expected an easy victory. They were wrong. The plans to use the tiny gnome as bait were successful. Some could say too successful. Group after group of lepers, troggs, and mechanical constructs came running towards the party lured by the frail gnome in their care...

Aylune Posted a Battle Recap: Fur Flies In The Cathedral
Gnashing teeth and jagged claws, three ferocious druids paved the way for two gnomes of the cloth to annihilate the cultist deep within the chapel. Together they decimated the rebellious order, killing countless sorcerers, wizards, chaplains, and guards. They searched every corner of every room in an effort to pluck the evil from this organization in its entirety. Some clever investigation, and tenacious searching led to a secret chamber of the church hiding a very interesting surprise. The Scarlet Crusaders had an undead amongst their numbers...

Aylune Posted a Battle Recap: Demolishing The Monastery
On this Day, Two druids A tank named Rorik and a healer Aylune, an elven hunter named Tenaka, a human warrior named Yobamw, and a tiny gnomish mage by the name of Elmunchster decided to destroy the monastery brick by brick. The journey began with the library, a place sacred to the zealots filled floor to ceiling with tomes of their teachings. No acolytes were spared, those that opposed the group were cut down where they stood, shot down when they attempted to flee, and those that hid were torn from the alcoves to which they clung...

Carande Posted a Battle Recap: Unscheduled Pick-up Event 9/18/19
We attempted to put a trial together with no success. Rather than disappoint the six people who did show up, we decided to do the public dungeons in Elsweyr. We completed them both in about an hour and had a great time! Thanks to Beliar for his leadership!

Aylune Posted a Battle Recap: The Library Assault
Troubling news fell upon our party and we were swift to answer. Trouble by Undercity would normally be ignored, considered the Horses problem, but not this time. This time the alliance took action against a group of crusaders. The first skirmish occured in the large buildings library. Many soldiers littered the building and all were cut down where they stood. The men and women believed their cause was righteous, and they were met with righteous fury for their beliefs. A notable defeat amongst the crusaders was their houndmaster Loksey, a clever for who used his well trained hounds to assault the party...

Aylune Posted a Battle Recap: Trolls and Disaster
Bravery is required when risking it all in the cape of stranglethorn. It all began with studying the many ancient tablets guarded by the vicious cannibalistic trolls of the jungle. Many troll lives were sacrificed in the most noble pursuit of knowledge. Further studies led the team to a nearby small island, inhabited by a multitude of aggressive water elementals. Yet the team prevailed, repaying the elementals violence with violence of their own until they were nothing but a lifeless puddle soaking into the sand...

Kalla Posted a Battle Recap: Gookie Greed leads to TPK
First Dungeon in WoW Classic, the Deadmines. We ventured forth, four, adrenaline junkies of Gaiscioch along with a bald tough mercenary we found along the way. Traversing the dungeons like the goonies of old we found a ship hidden within a mountain. We slew the Captain (eventually) and succumbed to our greed and tried to steal the pirate Cookie. However One-Eyed Willie, er I mean Captain Greenskin must be allowed his share and so we found ourselves defeated by the Mighty Murloc. Broken and battered we fled the mines for the time being...

LordSummit Posted a Battle Recap: Bandit Camp Hunt
First Bandit Camp event for me! It was a great event led by Meaghs and Foghladha! Faghladha started the event, but had to leave early so Meagh's led the rest of the event. I learned a lot about how to do Rebel Camps properly. Set up at npc entrance with shield walls and back up with archers.. Always have more shield walls than archers: 5 - 3 SW 2 ARCH 4 - 2 SW 2 ARCH or 3 SW and 1 ARCH. 3 - 2 SW 1 ARCH. Don't step in Cap point or event starts aka NPC rush!!! Set up shield walls then step in Cap point...
