The Story of Arathnar
The Dragon's Tale
Arathnar Daemonbane of House Daemonbane, is a Dragon Prince of Caledor. He hails from the Northern slopes, away from the main concentration of Druchii invading from the South. His home is one of the few great fortresses not under siege by their fallen kin and as such is a haven for refugees and civilians in Caledor.
Arathnar assumed leadership of his house at the tender age of 100, when he was forced to take up the mantle after his sister, Alania, jealous of being passed over for leadership at the behest of the great star dragon, Narthok, assassinated their father in his sleep. Arathnar took charge of her capture and slew his own beloved sister... Mounting her head in his fathers old study to remind him of how far some can fall.
