A few days ago, my 15 year old niece mentioned that she wanted try some d20. (Well, D&D in her words). Completely surprised me, because I never really thought that it was something she would be interested in. She spends most of her day at the skate park, listening to music, and doing other teenage girl stuff.

Anyway, I want to make a campaign that would interest her, but have no idea where to start. I figure with all the veteren pen and paper players, someone may have an idea.  She likes paranormal things: vampires, ghosts, etc.  Im pretty sure that she has read the twilight books and liked them.  Recently, she saw the movie "Warm Bodies" 5 times.

I just want something pretty simple so she can get a feel for role-playing. So if any of you have some ideas, I would appreciate it. =D

There is a Pathfinder beginner thing available, to help out with beginner players. I think it also contains an adventure.

Thanks Wolfie and Oreo. I think that the Arkham Horror is perfect starting point!

Take a look at the Carrion Crown Adventure Path for Pathfinder RPG by Paizo. It's got haunted prisons with ghostly inmates, forests filled with werewolf tribes, castles infested with vampires, frankenstein monsters running loose through the countryside, basically a whole menagerie of horror-themed supernatural creatures that she might enjoy based on what you said, all over 6 adventures. It also has Lovecraftian/Arkham Horror elements in it centering around a sleepy town. I'm running it now in a face to face group and they enjoy it.

If you want a non D20 but Dark themed coop games with Ghosts etc try http://www.amazon.com/Asmodee-5511826-Ghost-Stories/dp/B001J77UUQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1362502115&sr=1-1&keywords=ghost+stories I hear it is hard but worth it. Another good dark theamed coop is Darkest Night http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELGyr6Px9ZU . I agree with Arkham although the time commitment may be a little high? From what I hear the Legend of Drizzt (board game) is pretty easy to get into. Anyway here's the link to Boardgamegeek's Dungeon and Dragon list of board games. I am sure they can lead you in a good direction as well. http://boardgamegeek.com/geeksearch.php?action=search&objecttype=boardgame&q=dungeons+and+dragons&B1=Go On a side note I had heard that a game company is going to develop a pathfinder card game so that may be something to look into down the line. One of their tag lines for this game is ,"“Now you can get your Pathfinder fix when you don’t have the time or players needed for a full roleplaying game session.”
