I've pinged a few guildies about this but thought I'd ask in a more official capacity:

This is my fiancee's (Flutterby's) first MMO and she chose the mage class with the option of being able to heal.  The more she went down the healing path, the more she realized she enjoys that far more than being DPS.

Being an MMO veteran (I started with Dark Age of Camelot on Pendragon, continued on through WoW where I was a full-time raider, and now Rift), I enjoy doing the number crunching and going down the whole min/max path (simcrafting anyone?).  I can find a plethora of information on Cleric builds, healing, stats, spec, etc. but information on the Chrolomancer path seems sparse at best and what is there is suspect and seems to be primarily based on guesswork.

So... I'll ping the general audience and the gurus of this game and ask if anyone knows what stats she should be focused on.  My initial guess was Intelligence first followed by Spell Power though last night it was recommended she do Spell Power first and Intelligence next.  Does anyone play a mage healer full-time?  Recommendations for stats, playstyle, rotation?  Anything and everything would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Int is always primary for mages, spell power next and a good dose of strong wisdom helps too. Crits fine but only if you wont sacrifice too terribly much on the int and sp. I do chloro healing 99.999....% of the time. Only DPS or support if absolutely have to. I use a 51 chloro / 15 warlock / 0 archon build Worked great for me in everything from questing on Ember Isle to MT healing in raids The archon gives you free DoTs if you have tanks and party member rocking enough to take a few seconds from spamming void life to help do a little extra damage. Warlock gives you increase to endurance meaning more life for you (In my current gear my HP has been equal to or better than many DPS people in my groups), and gets you sacrifice life: mana and reconstruct (burns charge to heal you) so you technically never run out of mana. My rotation as it stands is radiant spores, withering vines (specially on bosses) and while keeping those up spam void life with the occasional toss in of stream of reclamation and natural splendor as their cool downs allow and there's minimal risk of having to interrupt the channeling to move. Outside that you got four straight (as in don;t deal damage to heal) spells that can be tossed as needed; one instant cast, one AoE, one thats an oh shit heal and the 2.5 second heal. A must must must (in my opinion) is putting points into opportunity. Gets you a free shot of damaging spells or the 2.5 sec casted healing spell.
