I have gotten signed up. I really liked that I could designate a local area hospital (Seattle Children's Hospital) as the recipient for the funds I personally raise, they are a terrific organization that supports Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. I know that some very special members of my family would not be here today if it were not for the great work that Children's Hospital does in my area and I bet if you talked to 10 people you would find at least one who has been personally touched by the support and services provided by an organization in the Children's Miracle Network too. How often do you get to do a really great thing by playing these silly online games we all love?! DO EEEET!

I got signed up as well, and was happy Children's was listed as a hospital to donate to as well. I took part of my training there when I got my BS in nursing at the U of W.

I'm in and I'm more than happy to be playing for Children's Hospital. Go Team!

I signed up to help out with this for our guild. I am also working with different organizations around me to get the word out. Lets see how much good it does =D

I know i wont be able to stay for the full 24. I have playoffs the next morning. 3 straight football games if all goes well.

You know, the Extra Life FAQs say you don't have to do this all on the same day if you can't be on 24 hours.

Okay I signed up (Maggie Holloway) and posted the info on my Facebook account. hopefully some of my miserly friends/family will sponsor meh! lol

I'm signed up.. I also know that I will not be able to play during the official Rift 9am-9am time frame as well. I may end up starting Friday night on my Faeblight toon and just switching over to the Rift server with a lvl 1 once they start.

To participate in the contests you'll need a level 1 toon. I will be forming the Gaiscioch on that server for the duration of the event and have worked closely with Abigale to ensure any of us who sport the Gaiscioch name will still be eligible to participate in the contests. Most likely I would like to have our Telara Saga leaders be inside the Gaiscioch and then have everyone else join the Trion Extra Life guild. That way if we need to banner people we can banner the masses around :). I'd like to represent so people know who sponsors the Telara Saga event that will go down on the charity server. Overall it should be a blast regardless of what happens. It will be good exposure and help a lot of kids in need. Be sure to attend if you want to get credited for the Dollar value of our contribution in the form of family contribution. $1000 = 1000 contribution.

On a side note we're ranked #51 for top team contributor :) Almost in the top 50!

Made my donation. What a wonderful cause to lift up a child in spirit--noble cause and through game play how great! I can't play all day, but will be making my level one. Unclear which server, I'm certain I will route that all. Thanks for the opportunity, see you all there.

I have signed up but so far nobody's ante'd up to sponsor me. I'ma hit up my in laws tomorrow. I put myself in the family team. :) I'm disabled and can't do the walks for charity that many people do, so I'm really looking forward to this.

I have a question if anyone knows .. when I go to my personal page it speaks of joining a team and emailing that back to extra life ... I am unsure of what to do for this part of the process .... If anyone knows your help would be appreciated .. the website seems a bit hokey for information like this and perhaps I am just not looking in the correct place. All right got all signed up as far as I can tell, on the Gaiscioch team and put in $25 to get myself started. Hope to see you all there. And don't forget even for the Insomniac title, breaks and maybe a little sink bath are recommended.

I'll be traveling on that Saturday, so I've kicked a bit of contribution towards Fog. Good luck everybody!

I have questions! 1. To get the insomniac and participation title you don't have to play 24h straight right? Just have played 24h during the event? 2. Do you HAVE to play on the charity server to get the titles? I do know the charity server gives you chances to win other cool things in game.. but I'm just wondering if we HAVE to play that server. 3. Does it have to be ONE character for the entire event? Or can we play on multiple characters and/or multiple servers? Thanks for any answers ^_^

yes, you must play 24 hours on the Charity Server to be eligible. See the forum post on the top of this thread to the official forums for full details.

We are getting closer to our goal too. At the time I'm mosting this we have passed 3300. We can do it! As for Saturday I know I won't play 24 hours. ROFL! I physically can't handle that, but I'll make a defiant char to mess with just over there when I can be on during the event. Probably make another cleric and name her Ladasach so you all know it's me. =) Maybe I'll learn somethig that helps me tweak the main char on Faeblight. =) Let's have fun and show the world what Gaiscioch really is!

Question will we be joining Trion guild for the event and the achievements?

I was told by Cindy to just give her our guild names and they will include us in the pool for prizes. Being we are so large and will be running an event she said she'd pull special strings for us.

So I looked all over to see how we ranked in fund raising .. I want to use it to push those that said they would but have not heh .... where are you seeing that or is that some special team captain thingie?

Okay so checking Trion's donation page versus ours .. they at about 20k and we at about 3.5k which means we have about 1/7 the donations of ALL trion subscriptions ... that says alot for one guild .. but makes me sad for the Trion folks that they can only muster 20k so far .... I know I am starting to email and call more and more folks .. I guess begging etc lol ... love the promises I get, or the facebook things; dont make me hide you for a week when you keep asking lol! .... But our deadline is nigh .... step it up folks! beg and stuff don't be proud its a good cause!

Uh oh, you spelt it wrong, Fog! Edit! ROFL! And that is Gosh-kia! =D Sadly every time I watch Wheel of Fortune with the hubby as part of our evening time and see that green Kia Soul that can be won, I picture it with Gaiscioch logos on it. Nothing like the insanity of vent during an event where this mental image was first created.

Good job everyone! Adalys and I have signed up and will be attempting to play 24 hrs straight! I have a question - since we will have different names and likely be in the Trion guild how will you tell that we were actually there and/or raised money for the event Fog?

FYI We're 18th over all now and ALMOST at 5k donations!!

I see they announced the servers. Too many people signed up for just one. They are Atrophinius and Belmont. Which one will we be using?

New question: at 8am pacific are we suppose to be logging into create character or already done with tutorial and in Sanctum at that time?

Okay found my answer in the new news post from Trion: "To qualify for any of the achievement awards, your character must be level 2 or below when the event starts at 8:00 a.m. PDT on Saturday morning and you must remain in the Extra Life guild for the duration of the event. We will be looking at your accomplishments during your 24 hours of gameplay." Do we join the Trion Life Guild or Gaiscioch? I saw someone made a Gaiscioch guild, but the leader was not Fog. I dont want to be disqualified for being in wrong guild!! So excited!

I don't know which guild we are to join but I'm kinda interested in joining the Trion and guild and see whats up in their camp =X Edit: I wil however be on vent all day to talk to all my QTPI's <3
