Is "gateway.playneverwinter.com" legit?

Hello,

I ask a simple question, and then provide my reasons for asking:

Is "gateway.playneverwinter.com" legit?

I know many of you Neverwinter folks may have used this website to access your AH, crafting.  However, I don't know if I trust this URL.  Here's why I am asking:

1. There is no link from perfectworld.com's website to "Playneverwinter.com". 
2. When searching for "gateway" on perfectworld.com, it only mentions their payment gateway.
3. When I created an account for Neverwinter, I got an email from "perfectworld.com".  The suspicious email I received for this gateway service comes from "playneverwinter.com".  
4. Again, if "playneverwinter.com" is legit, why isnt there mention of it, or a link to it from perfectworld.com?
5. Using a domain whois lookup, one of these sites is registered to CrypticStudios and the registrar is "Network Solutions, LLC".   The other site is registered to someone else, and the registrar is "GoDaddy".
6. There have been many accounts hacked/compromised.
7. The android app is a user made app, not an official Perfectworld app.

So what do you think?  Is Playneverwinter legit?  If it is legit, why doesnt Perfectworld mention it on their official website?  (Or at least LINK to it?)

Yes it is the official site, so is safe. 1. There is no link on the home page, but it is still a legit site 2. Because gateway.playnw is owned by Cryptic not PW 3. Don't worry your fine, they both use the same log in information and the same "browser" authorization 4. there was several post in news sections, blogs etc from devs/Community managers about it and it was talked in several of there twitch videos. 5. not sure why that is but one is cryptics, other is PW's... 6. not through this site, most of these hacks are not really hacks and people stupid enough to use the same user/pass at multiple fan sites as they do for there game accounts... dont be stupid and your be fine :) 7. I dont know of this andriod app and have looked it up, it is not legit and i would not give your info to it... it is an app that connects to the gateway ( i think i never tried it) but it is not official so who knows what they are doing with your account info... It's legit. Although it's still a bit rough around the edges and needs some optimisation.

Yup its legit and you are 100% in the right to question it. You can also ask them on Twitter and/or Facebook, actually that goes for most companies, to find out if a site is truly official or not. This was something that they'd tweeted about and I believe that I have a thread on it in the Neverwinter section of these forums. edit: Yup, here it is Neverwinter Gateway for Out-of-Game Management

There was a patch yesterday that has put this issue to rest. First, the patch notes mentioned the Gateway. Second, and more importantly, in-game, there is an email from Cryptic Studios that gives the URL link to the crafting gateway. Sadly, the gateway is blocked at my work... lol.
