Next exploit is out!

HOpefully you guys don't PVP as there is a nice new exploit that is giving people infinite STAM bars....the worst part is for TR's that can never be stopped or slowed down with their infinite dodging and wrecking you.
Basically it looks like your stam bar is tracked client side (really!??!!?) so they are modifying it on their side for infinite STAM.
I can imagine this would be useful in PVE also in alot of those higher level dungeons and skirmishes but less breaking there than in PVP.

UPDATE: apparently powers are also stored client side so as a TR you can have infinite daggers etc etc....also there are reports of people being immune to all CC as alot of stats and abilities are stored/tracked client side :(

:( I always die in pvp. Only do it for the quests and AD. But this just sucks.

No more Neverwinter for me. It was a blast when I started it, and I was all into it, but I stepped back, started reading through posts like this, and immediately decided I'm done with it.

Just read on reddit that a certain streamer that was using these exploits non stop was complaining they no longer work. Hopefully this means cryptic did a ninja fix on them that was not in patch notes. Time will tell. I love this game, it is a ton of fun, but all the exploiting and nonsense that has been going on makes me extremely hesitant to do any PUG content, simply because I do not want to get caught in the crossfire! Hopefully PWE and Cryptic will get all this nonsense taken care of before "live"

I wouldn't sweat doing PUG content, they're most likely already logging and those are generally pretty specific as to who is using the exploits they're tracking. But, if you find out that someone in your group is pulling shenanigans, just make a comment that you won't be a party to it, and bail. Assuming worst case happens and you do get caught up, then you can show that once you found out about the cheating, you refused to take part and left the group. Use common sense rules, if it seems like an exploit, it probably is and is most likely being already logged for investigation purposes.

woot, they did fix that...it seems once these big exploits are made public then they jump on it :)

Rule number 1 when it comes to MMO: Play the game and if you have fun do NOT read the forums... ever. The moment you read the forums you'll discover all sorts of nefarious and dastardly things going on that you would probably not have noticed if you hadn't read the forums. Quickest way to hate a game is to read the forums. I've lost track of how many posts that basically said "Yeah I was having a great time in this game. Then I read the forums and now I'm done with Neverwinter." Don't read the forums if you're having fun, people! Or if you do read the forums, don't forget that you were having FUN before. Don't let other people's stupidity ruin your fun. Don't let other people dictate what you like/don't like.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ People think I'm ignorant for saying that I will not read the official Guild Wars 2 forums, but you know what... I think I love this game a lot more by avoiding that Pit of Deep Dark Negativity. Some of my favorite games never had official forums. (*cough DAOC*) I will second and agree: If you want to hate a game, go read their forums. If you want to love it, don't.

"Always with the negative waves Moriarty, ALWAYS with the negative waves!" Oddball First, I don't play Neverwinter, but what Kal and Sek state on the negativity in forums is true. It will quickly ruin a game for you and I third it.... don't read the official forums. If you have an issue then go to them to search for that specific issue or go to your guild forums and seek a solution. It is such a small % of the gaming population that posts to them that it can't be considered reliable anyway. Just my opinion. Safe journ...

I don't even PvP in Neverwinter. It just doesn't interest me when I can get good quality PvP in GW2 or Battlefield
