World of Warcraft?

Ok, I know this is probably a stupid question, does anyone play WoW? I recently resubbed just to see what is going on in game. It's been a while since I've seriously played but I had the itch. I don't know if I'll be devoting any serious time to it yet, just wanted to get a general opinion and feel.

Yeah, I think I'm basically wasting time until the next game comes out.

We do have some family who play WoW but there's no official guild or saighdear or anything like that for it as far as I know. I've seen some conversations pop up in Rift guild chat from time to time about it though. If you're looking to connect with other family members who play, asking in guild chat might be a good way to find them. As far as whether MoP is any good, or what's changed, couldn't tell ya, as I don't play anymore at all xD

I played about a week ago because I picked up the Panda expansion for a bargain and enjoyed what I saw, but I doubt I'll play it with any significant commitment. I'm taking the time off gaming to experience some nature for a change.

I've been playing rather exclusively for the past couple of months with a guild on Stormrage. Leveling a gnome monk and I have to say that it's been the best experience I've had with WoW since vanilla. Granted I'm not fond of the "dumbing down" of most of the vanilla and TBC content, I just blow through it now due to the insane xp gains from questing and 5 mans. A lot of folks that I've talk to that are in end game are saying that they're having a great time. I guess you could say that perhaps Blizz finally got something right for a change *shrug*. Unfortunately I've been bitten by the SimCity bug and have somewhat neglected other games that I have been playing. If you can look past what EA has done to the game I think you'll thoroughly enjoy SC.

I haven't played since early wrath, but my sister-in-law loves WoW. If someone gets a Saighdear or guild going I know she'll join and I may stop in from time to time.

I still play WOW. I usually visit about once a week as I have a great guild with friends that I have known for years. We are ally on the server Aerie Peak. If anyone has an interest there - Our guild is Wrath Dynasty. They are a very good group of people.

I play if I feel like it but the game has gone down and isn't what it used to be.

I just stopped playing back on the 20th of Feb. Well, that's not technically true. My time ran out on the 20th, but I stopped playing the 2nd week of January. Had started back up in October, and was having fun, enjoying the new panda continent. Got my paladin to 90, got annoyed with him and switched over to my warlock, focused more on him. That was after an 8 month break from Valentine's Day 2012 until October 20th. I honestly don't think I will be going back. Cataclysm destroyed any real fun, and also destroyed my guild on Echo Isles. I tried to start over on Wyrmrest, but I just couldn't stand going through the "updated" (and downgraded, imo) 1-60 content, and having no bags/money/heirlooms, so went back to echo isles.

I play with my partner when we get bored with other games or want a pve fix.

I'm still boycotting Blizzard until Starcraft 2 comes out. Still got 5+ years to go. Hope Gamestop still has my pre-order from October 2006. Clarification: The Starcraft 2 Battle Chest. IE The Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm, and the Protos one that they haven't even started. I was SUPER EXTREME RAGE when they decided to split the game into 3 parts.

I really like WoW. It's an amazing game. Especially all the lore. I don't like the gear score raiding side of it, though the LFR is great to be able to see the content, and I don't like the dailies either after doing them a few times. That seems to be what everyone else is doing in WoW. Chasing that carrot on a stick. I have more fun in the game just exploring, leveling up and reading all the quests. Unfortunately my sub ran out and I just have too many other games to play to justify paying $15 a month for it. I will probably check it out again once I finish reading more Warcraft books. I am reading The Last Guaridan right now and I have been itching to see Karazhan again.

I did/sometimes still do play some WoW. I've got 4 90s on alliance side (pally/warr/hunter and mage) on Mannoroth and 4 90s (monk/rogue/dk and priest) on horde side Jaedenar. If anyone wants to play some time eithr send me a PM on here or you can add me Jester#1109. Don't really play much now but my gf does so I log on every once in awhile. I also play D3 and have one of every class maxed out and can do up to MP3 on them easily.

@Wolfie: It's a good enough game it deserves three parts. I currently still play WoW and am interested if anyone else does anymore, since this thread is kind of old. I play on the Earthen Ring RP server, and yes I do roleplay some, and next xpac I'm planning with my brother to move to the Aerie Peak server, because it has more people, and it's pacific time. If anyone is playing, look me up on Earthen Ring, or let me know where you are.
