How long should it take to get fellowishp points from claimed events? I participated yesterday's temple event and did not recieve points yet.

Did you claim the event on the website? http://www.gaiscioch.com/edit_kinship.php
It gets updated around 1am. If it's not updated tomorrow throw a PM to Fog.

From my experience once you claim it, you should see the increase in honor and fellowship instantly. The event claiming is on the honor system so it automatically awards the points when you claim.
Yesterday when I went to claim an event and clicked the button, I noticed my points didn't increase either. I went back to look at the event, and nothing was checked, so I did it again and it worked. Check the event and see if the little rectangle appears where the check boxes were before you clicked it.
