Hey, I just wanted to report a site issue. I can't access the Events page. It says:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /events/ on this server.

Oh wow you can tell who's working on what section ;). It will be fixed soon. Had to move some things around to get the new event manager in place. I'm testing it now.

Whats the exact URL your trying to access and whats the exact url that you came from to try to reference that. The new event system is plugged in. Not sure where your finding this.

Since it was not clear if they were trying to post leadership stuff or an event to a calendar I tested both from various points. Here are the combos tried in order to make it break: From gaiscioch.com - clicked participate - chose events and then backed out to chose leadership. Both worked. From rift main page - same as above From gw2 main page - same as above Even went to the event link that shows the monthly calendar and then follwed through from there to add an event and then to add leadership. No errors found. So when reporting an error Fog really needs maybe a tad more than he asked for. 1) He needs the exact URL in the browser line at the time 2) What exact steps you did - i.e. clicked on particpate, clicked on events 3) the error message - which was nicely supplied. 4) which browser and version are you using - sometimes that makes a difference, but not always - for my tests I was on Chrome. Now I know Kurtgrim had an issue with the error message coming from rift.gaiscioch.com though Hex was doing a GW2 event. This is why I tried all of the above though I am sure there are more than what I tried that can get you there but those are all of the main ways I could think of which could not duplicate this.

Mine is fixed now, it was out for about a day but working fine now. For the record, I clicked Events, moused over Participate then clicked Leadership, which would normally take me to the Create event screen. Instead it errored as posted above. Browser was Firefox latest version. I only use GW2 events.

Well, it could have been during the time Fog was actually working on it and getting the kinks out. =) Glad it works now for you.

Yeah this post was posted while I was upending the whole bloody thing. It hasn't worked right since GW2 launch so I finally got the new version in place to fix the issues we were having with the event system running off characters for rift, and gw2 needing to run off members. 2 Different Tables. Now both run off members then show available characters next to their RSVP.
