A Note About Me

Hail all!  I just wanted to let you all know that I am logging in a lot more lately and I'd like to get more involved in our guild events.  Its my fault but I really havent had a chance to travel with anyone due to previous play times and RL commitments.  For that I appologize.

I had honestly just been soloing for the past 60 or so levels and saying hello in guildchat LOL.  It's getting a bit stale now though and to be honest, I could use a travel companion or a group outting or two. 

Some of my confusion lies in the times of the events.....it says server time but im not sure where to find server time on my UI haha. <---- Dolt.  Any advice or replies are welcome even criticsm for being a Dolt lol!

The time should be listed on your mini map. If not there is an option to turn it on. :)

Ok thanks....that clears that up! I thought that was the current time of day.

Ok.....My apologies........All times on the calendar are Pacific and the time on the mini map is the current time. Pacific time is 3 hours earlier than my time zone (eastern) So .....an event that starts 3:30pm Pacific is 12:30 eastern oh wait no....it's 6:30pm my time??? See why I'm confused?? LOL OR....Does our calendar adjust the scheduled time to my format automatically???

our calendar is in server time or PST. ;)

Just add 3 hours to the Server Time to get the Eastern time : )

I believe there i an option in GW2 to make the clock server time rather than local time, if that would help you. Alternatively you can just do what Ralcore stated and do the conversion in your head. EST is ahead of PST by 3 hours and as such all events will be 3 hours later than the calender time.
