I am going out on a limb and starting a gathering event at 6pm PST on fridays. This will be an event every other week that will be rotating with prissy's leadership training events. This event is to have some fun with the family while gathering mats and exploring events in zones. Hope to see people there:)

If I can be there Jes, I will. Gathering and selling is the only real way I have to make gold and as it stands I gather from ever plant, tree, and pile of rock that I can. Running with the family to do this would just be awesome. It is also a way to get characters without WP's a few of those in each zone. That's what I had to do on my Ele - she hit 80 by doing almost entirely WvWvW and only had 7% of map completion. I've been just running her through zones to gather WP's and she gathers at the same time. She's now up to 40% :) but still no where capable of doing Guild BH's. It was a fun event and thanks to everyone who came out and joined:) I will be doing these every other friday so if you missed it this week, you will have another opportunity.
I hope people that attended appreciated the work you did. You were great fun to follow and I collected lots of mats. After the event was over I spent some time and cleared the zone for map completion. Thanks again!!!
Yeah I was hoping to get everything except hearts for people so they could easily go back and do them and sometimes the events that spawn also help with the hearts completing. Just don't have enough time to do all hearts in 3 hours. I am glad to hear people had fun. I am still trying to decide on a map for next week but I will put it up on the calendar by this weekend so all know:) Oh and sorry for having to bail the last few minutes I had my roommate show up and she needed help with moving. She gave me two vases full of flowers that belonged to a friend that recently passed away and I wanted to spend time with her, so thank you for understanding.
Life happens so I don't think anyone has a problem when it gets in the way of "playing" a game. If they do, they just need to live longer to understand that life is much more important than "playing". And yes, it was fun. I will always try and bring a character that needs the zone the most. I don't have anyone with map completion and have 4 very active characters running around. Even if I had all my characters with that zone complete, if I was available I would be running with you - just for the giggles and collecting mats. Big THANKS again.
