I think it would be helpful if the event system allowed the leader to write 140 characters of what the event was. This would allow participants to tell them apart.
For example, in T&L Trithian has 4 "unscheduled PVE events" yesterday. I'm sure I was with him for some but not all. I can't tell them apart.

The title can be set by making a scheduled events. The title of the scheduled event is in the drop-down for the event when you claim it. It will take some time to build a catalog of the various types of activities most of that comes from getting to chapter status. In the past I've invested a lot of time into games that fizzled after a couple weeks. We want to be sure this one sticks before I devote a hundred plus hours of admin to it.
When I do an unscheduled event I usually try to post a note with it about what it was. IF you see the automated message about the event you can scroll up and probably find a message where I said what we did and pasted the code
