I watched this, since I have been seeing so much about this on facebook. After watching it, I did some research (light research) and there is a lot of controversy around this whole "campaign." I just advise people to do their own research on this Group (Invisible Children) and make informed choices.
Guys, i'm going to let this thread roll for now but as soon as this turns political debate I'm locking it down.
Fog, I have no intention of starting any debate (political or otherwise). My post wasn't meant to be inflammatory in any way, I apologize if it is preceived that way :/ If you would like, I will remove my previous post.

It's not your reply. I just wanted to put the disclaimer out there before this thread starts going.
I read a very interesting newspaper article about this explaining the controversial nature of the campaign and some questionable practices on all sides. Hmm, I am not convinced this is the type of thing for a guild forums as it is fairly controversial/political in my opinion.
I am sorry if I jumped the gun on this one..I just saw children hurting and as a mother and grandmother I just hurt seeing this. If I was wrong i apologize. It was no way meant to be political just was emotional to me. My Emotional side just felt that it should be shared had no Idea it was a viral thing till I saw it on the world news. Again I am the least person .. politics and religion do not belong among friends or family... Please remove if you feel necessary...
Your motives are great Sea :) It is just I was worried about it setting a precedent ... I don't in any way mean to say the issue is "wrong" to post, but instead made a general comment about whether it was the right arena for that type of thing. I am all for healthy debate and freedom of speech, in the right context. And this is just my personal opinion, which is not necessarily the right one!
